The car was a 2005 Audi A6. The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) is WAUDG74F65_. 1. Certified preowned car (certified at 30k miles) under normal usage (20k miles in 18 months). No special events leading to the failure. 2. Electronic parking brake cannot be released. Car is disabled and cannot be driven. Occurred 2 times. Corroded electronic parking brake wires and connectors. 3. Electronic parking brake wire harnesses and connectors were replaced. This issue happened on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.
