Two problems related to emission control have been reported for the 2000 Buick Lesabre.
Emission Control problem #1
The vehicle involved was a 2000 Buick Lesabre. When the gear was shifted from park to drive the vehicle jerked with out warning. The consumer was initially told the motor mounts were broken/weak, however the problem recurred, and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who then informed the consumer the wrong chip was used to control the idle speed. The problem was due to the type of emissions on the vehicle. Ph. This emission control problem happened on Saturday, March 15, 2003.
Emission Control problem #2
The car was a 2000 Buick Lesabre. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is 1G4HR54K0Y_. Evaporative control system failure required replacement of evaporator purge valve and canister. It was 06/02/02 when this emission control issue happened.
