Since we purchased our Dodge Journey it's been nothing but problems we own a 2010 Journey. We've had to replace brakes and rotors, steering makes a very loud noise when turning almost sounds like electricity and my vehicle is not the only one I witness the same problem with another persons car same Dodge Journey we always get our car the necessary oil changes and my engine makes a very funny noise even our mechanic was worried he told us that our car is still new that my engine has to be leaking because everytime we get our routine oil changes it seems like the car is low on oil. Also when I start driving away it loses speed and make a very ugly sound. This is by far the worst investment ever do not throw your money away on anything Dodge or Chrysler garbage expensive garbage then when you call them up they say they can't do anything about it. I think the government should be more strict on these kind of things this is our money here we pay taxes on these car more should be done to protect the consumer. This brake funny noise issue occurred January 3, 2013.

The vehicle is a 2010 Ford Edge. Crash was involved with the Ford Edge. On 1/21/12, I pulled into a parking space, with my foot on the brake to put the car into park, the engine made a funny noise and the car surged forward crashing into a Ford mustang. This crash should never have happened since my foot had the brake depressed. When the car came to a halt after hitting the mustang, I had to pull the gear shift out of "park" to back up off the damaged vehicle. After taking my vehicle to randall Ford to be checked out, I was informed that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. They tried to convince me that my foot was on both pedals. This is virtually impossible to do in my car unless my foot was turned at a 90 degree angle from it's normal position. If my foot had slipped off the brake and hit the gas I would have said that and never taken my vehicle in to be inspected. I know Ford never wants to admit they have a problem with their vehicles but I urge the "powers that be" to go back into their issue history and check out the issues you had with the Ford freespirit surging forward on numerous occasions. I would like for someone to take this issue serious while my car is still under warranty. I cannot afford an $8000. Repair. I would also like to state that if someone had been between my car and the mustang it hit, they could have been severely hurt or killed. It was Jan. 21, 2012 when this brake funny noise issue occurred.

The car involved is a 1998 Mercury Mystique. The vehicle identification number (VIN) of this Mercury Mystique is 1MEFM6532W_. The car makes a funny noise from the engine compartment after each startup. Was told that it is likely the abs going through a test. The noise is also heard when making an agressive turn while stopping, typically when the abs would engage. The noise could be best described as a loud, high pitch wine that last only a few seconds. I was told that this is common and is a major safety issue. This problem occurred on Mon., Oct. 1, 2001.

The car was a 2007 Nissan Maxima. I was driving my children to daycare this morning when I noticed my brakes making a funny noise and sound. I could hear a clicking sound from the front, drivers side wheel, and the car began to shake as I tried to come to a stop. I immediately took the car to my local Nissan dealership where they told me the abs actuator needed to be replaced. At a cost of $1,600. After doing my own online research I found that there are hundreds of Maxima owners out there with the same problem. This has got to be a Nissan defect. Its terrible that Nissan can put out a bad product and make the consumer cover the cost out of pocket!. It was January 2, 2013 when this brake funny noise issue happened.

The car was a 2001 Subaru Forester. On Monday at 4:50 pm I was driving n a school zone and realized that I was having to ride my breaks I also thought there was some funny noise from the engine. I rolled down my window and couldn¿t hear any thing. As I approached the stop sign my car would not stop and I pressed my breaks all the way down. The rpm¿s went all the way into the red and my car continued about 4 to 6 feet with breaks all the way down. When car finely came to a stop I placed it in park because I thought this my stop my car from going into gear again and the rpm¿s continued to rise more into the red. I was afraid and placed it in drive with foot on break to get it into the parking lot I took a right. When I had to stop in the lot the car would not stop and the rpm¿s went up all the way as my foot was on the break it went about 3 extra feet before coming to a stop. I placed it in park and quickly turned the car off. I turned the car on to see if it would reset but the rpm went all the way up again. A man claiming to be a mechanic looked at my throttles to make sure they were not stuck and took one finger and tapped on the throttle sensor. I started the care again and the rpm¿s were back to a normal amount. The dealers have not been able to replicate and have found no fault in the diagnostic testing. Cause unknow. This issue happened on 06/10/2013.
