Car started giving me problems in 2002 so I decided to use my extended warranty to get the car fixed once it broke down on me on the highway; I found out that the warranty company never heard of me and that my warranty never existed. The place that I brought the car from went out of business because of fraudulent activities, but they did have one other car place that was still operating, so I called that place and explain the problem to them. They assured me that they would take care of me. They tried twice too fix the problem and supposedly fixed the problem, the car is still the same way it was when I brought it to them. They are giving me the run around. My extended warranty is suppose to last 60 months or 100,000 meters which ever comes first. car   Manual Transmission Shift Pattern Indicator problem of Mitsubishi Montero Sport

The vehicle involved is a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. I am very disappointed in my 2000 Montero Sport and the lack of answers that I have received in the past. In addition my check engine light came on for the first time, when I took the car in I was told the problem had been fixed. Later the same day it came back on, I returned the following day, and was told to find out what was wrong I would have to leave the car one complete day to determine what the problem was since nothing appeared to be wrong. I left it and when I picked it up I was told that the cars computer was trying to place the car in 2 different gears at the same time and the problem was resolved. A few days later while driving on the highway on my way to work the car shuddered and shifted into neutral on its own and refused to move, subsequently the air-condition started blowing hot air. When I was finally able to get the car to drive it remained in 1st gear and would not shift to second. At that point I took the car to the dealership to find out what was going on, I was told that something was wrong with the transmission but they couldnt diagnose what exactly was wrong and the car was returned to me. The car was then taken to aamco transmission to find the problem since the cause could not be found at the dealership. I was told the following occurred over time and in this order: torque converter failed (causing the shuddering and jerking when gears were changed), pump failed due to converter problem, transmission failed due to pump failure, bushings and plastic parts were warped due to high temperature caused by pump failure. Currently they are unable to locate replacement parts that will fit my car which is extremely frustrating. The reason I am writing this letter is because I have spent over $3000 this year on my car and now I have to purchase a transmission, torque converter, transmission pump, and air-condition unit. I am a student, I am not rich or well off. It was Tuesday, June 1, 2004 when this manual transmission shift pattern indicator issue occurred.

car   Manual Transmission Shift Pattern Indicator problem of Buick Century

The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) was 2G4WS52M5X_. Unsure if this is an actual safety problem but it relates to transmission problems for our 1999 Buick Century. Since the problem could render the car unable to move at any time, I would classify it as a safety problem. Our service engine light came on a few miles back. We checked everything we could and finally had the problem diagnosed. We were told that the service code meant that a transmission component was slipping. I find that very troubling since the car has only 44,011 miles. We were also told by the same service center that a 2000 Buick Century that had 45,000 miles had the same problem only the day before. Is there an on-going investigation into this problem? should there be?. This problem occurred on Wed., Aug. 6, 2003.

car   Manual Transmission Shift Pattern Indicator problem of Jaguar X-type

I own the following automobile: 03 Jaguar X-type sajea51d33xc89540. This car was purchased in July of 2002, from howard orloff Jaguar in chicago illinois. This car has given me nothing but problems. I have had the car serviced several times last year, for engine ticking, and the check engine light coming one. This year, I have had this car serviced three times for the following: 1. Tick in the engine 2. Leather discoloring 3. Carpet coming from under molding 4. Heating vents coming out of dashboard 5. Rain sensors not working' 6. Windshield wipers not automatically working 7. Hole in carpet on driver's side 9. Being locked out on several occasions, the alarm switches were not working, and the key would not open the door. 10. The transmission gear box has been replaced, because the transmission jerks, and there was a ticking sound coming from the gear box. 11. The car would not start; they had to replace the battery. I am having the car towed tomorrow for the following reasons: 1. Ticking in the engine 2. The check engine light keeps coming on 3. Abs system malfunction light comes on 4. There was an excessive amount of brown "stuff" leaking from under my car yesterday. 5. When I got in the car and cut on the heat, I did not have any heat. 6. The car would not start, three times in a row. . . Then it just started up 7. The car will not allow you to take the key out of the ignition although this is an entry level Jaguar, the car does not have that many miles on it, and it should not be giving me these major problems. . . Especially the same issues over, and over again. This manual transmission shift pattern indicator problem happened on Wed., Apr. 5, 2006.
