car   Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of Chevrolet Cruze

In 2012 I started having issues with my vehicle "Chevrolet Cruze 2011" and the vehicle is now or has been under gps based surveillance. The vehicles surveillance became aware to me during 2013 when I noticed constant beeping sounds. These were not the chime sounds indicating "vehicle service needed", these are post beeps or "hard drive access". The post beeps indicate access to the vehicles electronics system and compromising "electrical safety" and "sole operator owner" abilities. Any time I step near the vehicle it would "sound off" indicating I approached the vehicle. Any time any other person approached the vehicle it would not "sound off". Any time I enter the vehicle the,car would "sound off". Any time any other persons would enter the vehicle it would not "sound off". When beginning a trip the vehicle would "sound off". When reaching a stop or destination the vehicle would "sound off". When stopping at a stop light the or any stop sign or vehicle halt the vehicle would "sound off". The vehicles electrical system has been compromised, allowing malfunction and alterations of vehicle calibration "assumption". I have had electrical flaws within the vehicle such as the fans never shutting off since the stalking began. Sounding off would be the audible post beeping hdd access sound, indicating information transfer within the vehicles computer system. This event is unheard of, and is undocumented on the internet, I also was able to verify with others that was not a noticeable event. This is a deliberate targeting and isolated harassment of myself and my personal life from a unknown source remotely. This navigational (global positioning system) gps problem happened on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Friends with the same model have the same problem. Specifics of problem is listed below in communication with Honda. This is problem is so potentially dangerous my wife and I don't use the system any more. In conversations with Honda they won't recognize the safety aspect of the problem see below. Acr@ahm. Acura. Com background: I currently own two Acura vehicles, a 2008 tl and a 2013 Rdx. I have owned a total of 4 Acura vehicles and there are currently 5 Honda vehicles in my immediate family. I believe you manufacture an superior product with the exception of what I consider a serious design flaw in the 2013 Rdx. I have an advanced aerospace engineering degree from mit and currently work in the advanced technology development arena. And I speak english fluently (native language). Problem: trying to activate the navigation system (places mode) when the vehicle is in motion is at best user unfriendly and potentially dangerous. My wife and I have engaged in several training exercises since we purchased the vehicle at the end of September; all have resulted in frustration and failure to achieve the desired result. (training consists of trying to use the system on a familiar route to a known location. ) as you know, in this mode, the driver must spell the desired location in order to engage the system. Yesterday, the system couldn’t recognize the letter “e,” the most commonly used letter in the english language. My attention was constantly diverted from the road to trying to make an audio input that the system could understand then looking at the screen to select a numbered verification of the letter. This scenario took about 10 minutes for a 6 letter word. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. This issue happened on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

car   Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of Land Rover Freelander

The vehicle having this issue was a 2002 Land Rover Freelander. I purchased this SUV with only 14,000 on it with the remaining factory warranty. At 21,000 the SUV engine left me stranded on the interstate 2 hours from home. It had to be towed. Land rover fixed it, $13,000 they found metal shavings in the engine at 21,000 miles. The warranty covered the engine, but they charged me $80 for an oil change~ you have to put new oil in a new engine~~but they made me pay for the oil! they navigation system screen went black and keeps going off, they said the warranty would pay for it, never heard back and the warranty is out last month. They fixed a recall on the carb the last oil change. The brakes ground down to the rotors, had to replace them at 20,000. New engine left me stranded in another state with my little girl in the middle of no where with no cell service. Needed towed again. The anti-freeze hose had come loose from engine, caused it to shut down. . . Had to fix, no warranty, car had 52,000 miles (2,000 over) last week I was taking my daughter to school and smelled gasoline very strongly, after having to idle in behind the buses in front of her school. With children walking by, and blocked in by another mom, it nearly exploded! the gas gauge had went down 1/2 tank, it started to smoke and nearly got fire. They said I was very lucky to have not been in a fire with my daughter. Over 3/4 tank of gas had leaked out under the hood of the SUV and if something would have sparked it, my daughter & I would not be here, and maybe not the children in front of the school standing by buses or on bus next to SUV. They also found oil plug was leaking after Land Rover dealer changed oil at $80 and never put seal back on plug. Almost burnt engine up again. Right now it is sitting at repair shop, Land Rover accidentally sent them a wheel bearing last week instead of the part to fix gas leak, I have a rental car for over 1 week now. I have no idea how much the cost will be to get it fixed this time, I'm pretty much screwed. This navigational (global positioning system) gps problem happened on Saturday, September 16, 2006.

car   Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of Mercedes Benz ML320

The vehicle was a 2007 Mercedes Benz Ml320. Years ago, while driving through new mexico, my dash and command center flashed off and rebooted. It was a little concerning because we were using the gps exclusively for our directions. There was also a transmission warning light that came on warning us to get to the nearest dealer, without shifting gears. This happened perhaps 10-15 times until I was able to detour to the mb dealer in albuquerque - absolutely wonderful people. They told me that it would sound strange but the problem was caused by a faulty glow plug sensor or module - which they didn't have in stock. Since our destination was l. A. , they called ahead to mb of beverly hills (bh), (also wonderful people) to check if they had one. They (mb of bh) couldn't find any other trouble codes except a few power spikes so they replaced the alternator, under warranty. They even rushed it due to a family emergency back home. It happened on the way back several times, then didn't happen again until I drove to colorado in 2013. It happened repeatedly while there. I called the mb dealer in denver who was supposed to have the service department call me back - they never did. I wonder if it has something to do with a change in altitude or lower humidity (electrostatic discharges)- perhaps extended driving as I drove 1,200 + miles to CO in 20 hours stopping only twice for fuel and once for a hotel. Any ideas folks?. This navigational (global positioning system) gps issue occurred Monday, March 16, 2009.

A fully functional rear view camera is a safety necessity with the vehicle, since it has a very small narrow back window. Compounding the problem was the unreliability of the navigation screen. The consumer had to take the vehicle to the dealer to have the navigation system fixed to function properly. When the navigation system went blank, the rear view camera did not work. This navigational (global positioning system) gps problem happened on 10/01/2013.

car   Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of Buick Rainier

The vehicle is a 2004 Buick Rainier. Driving on a city street- speed limit of 35 mph my meter read 75 mph. I put my gps system on to monitor my mph. At traffic light while idleing the meter read 45 mph. 2004 Buick Rainier had been sitting outside for 3 days with the temperature in the 20's and this was the 1st time I had driven it. Tried accelerating and stopping a little suddenly hoping to jolt the meter back to normal. No results. Parked for about 30 minutes, started the car and it began to register at 65 mph when driving 35 mph per gps. Idleing read 25 mph. After more stops and restarts the idle speed would read just below 20 mph. Called onstar for a diagnostic and they connected me with GMC tech. They were going to try and reset the speedometer but found out it could not be done and wanted me to go to a local dealership. I was 400 miles from home and instead contacted my dealership at home. I was informed that this is an ongoing complaint about 2004 Rainiers and that I should have no trouble traveling home in 2 days and that my speed control should work fine. I am very displeased that the GMC tech did not convey this information to me knowing that I was traveling and was concerned about safety. The next day I drove about 30 minutes parked the car for 1 1/2 hours and when I started driving then the speedometer was back to normal. Googled this problem and found many complaints and stories just as mine and found out the there has been no recall because there were not enough complaints about the problem. Shame shame shame on Buick!!! I have since visited my local dealership and will be having a cluster replaced next week. S. So consider this a complaint about 2004 Buick Rainier and a complaint about GMC tech handling of what I consider a safety issue. I intend to trade in a year or two - but at that time I will certainly reconsider purchasing a GMC and/or Buick. It was Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 when this navigational (global positioning system) gps issue occurred.

car   Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps problem of Cadillac SRX

The car is a 2012 Cadillac Srx. The vehicle identification number (VIN) of this Cadillac Srx is 3GYFNAE34C_. Purchased vehicle with navigation option. Upon first use, voice directions were terribly wrong. Dealer ordered new navigation disk from Cadillac - but problem remained. Issue has not been resolved after three months. Cadillac regional manager said problem will not be fixed until 2014 model year. High potential exists for fatal accident if driver is directed to make a wrong turn into one-way street. Handheld gps units are very accurate; gm engineers must be directed to make a fix ASAP. Dealer tested other 2012 Cadillac Srx's and same problem occurs. This is a potential disaster in the making. The failure date was Tue., Feb. 7, 2012.

The vehicle having this issue was a 2003 Jaguar S-type. The vehicle identification number (VIN) of the car was SAJEA03V33_. Climate control and navigation system. The dealer informed me that the climate control system and navigation system do not work together. When the outside temp reaches 85 or above the a/c will not work. I must turn the car off to reset. If the outside temp is below 45, the heat does not work. I have been informed that the fix will be out in Feb of 2004. This problem started in June of 2003. I have made dozens of calls to the local dealer and national. The last I heard was that the fix is out and a technician is working his way across the us fixing each car.
