car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Chevrolet Malibu

The car involved is a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu. On the day of the incident I was traveling on the road with my two children in the vehicle. Suddenly the speedometer and gauges on the dashboard went down to zero while I was driving. The abs, traction control, engine light, and security lock lights were lite up on the dashboard. The fuel gauge is not responding to the amount of fuel in tank. If ever I turn the car off it would not restart which meant my children and I would have been stuck in the middle of nowhere. Its been a headache trying to keep up with the amount of gas in my vehicle due to gauge not responding. The power steering light comes on on the dashboard. Just everything is wrong with this model vehicle and it seems every week there's another recall that is added to the list. Its scary. Twelve to thirteen lives have been lost already over defaults of the chevy modeled vehicles. A very insecure and uncomfortable customer/family. This recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Chrysler Pacifica

The vehicle is a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) was 2A8GM68X77_. The fuel gauge is not showing correctly. It reads that the fuel tank is half full then it suddenly drops to empty. The miles to empty gauge is not calulating corectly either. You can not tell how far you really can go before the car will run out of gas. When I attempt to fill the fuel tank, it will not let the fuel flow into the fuel tank. It stops as if it is full, but it is not. This problem occurred on 03/04/2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Chrysler Pt Cruiser

The vehicle was a 2006 Chrysler Pt Cruiser. Since November 2012, my 2006 Pt Cruiser's dashboard has occasionally gone crazy with all gauges (speed, gas, etc) going crazy and bouncing back and forth, all lights (engine, airbag, brake, etc) lighting up at the same time. At that time, it did not affect the engine. On March 15, 2013, the car died suddenly while pulling out into an intersection after being stopped at a red light. The gauges and lights had previously been going crazy. The car restarted without a problem. I drove the car to the Chrysler dealership where it was purchased immediately. The mechanic could not recreate the issue and did a computer update. After picking the car up from the dealership on March 22, 2013, again the gauges and lights starting going off and the car started to stall and the engine sputtered. I was in stop and go traffic. When stopped, the car would not immediately accelerate and it threatened to quit numerous times. I had to put my warning lights on to avoid being hit by the truck behind me. I immediately drove the car home and took it back to the dealership the following week. After another week, the mechanic was finally able to recreate the problem with the lights and gauges but did not experience the stalling or intermittent lack of acceleration. The car is still at the dealership and he is unable to determine the cause of the problem. He suggests replacing the dashboard cluster but is not sure if this will fix the problem. After reading other customer complaints that replacing the dashboard cluster did not remedy the same problem in other Pt Cruisers, I am not confident that this is the solution to the problem. I would appreciate Chrysler responding to this issue that many 2006 Pt Cruiser owners are experiencing. The problem seems too prevalent to ignore and having a car die suddenly in the middle of traffic is a dangerous thing. This recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred Fri., Mar. 22, 2013.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Dodge Ram 1500

The car was a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. The dash on my 2001 Dodge 1500, began to crack a few years ago for no apparent reason. Now, there are several long cracks and large sections of the dash are rattling. I am having intermittent electrical problems with the instrument panel. Frequently, none of the dash displays work, including speedometer, odometer and the fuel gauge. This is a very dangerous problem. I am very concerned that part of the dash is going to fall in or fall off while I am driving or an electrical problem will occur while driving. On-line searches have revealed that many people have already reported this problem and the safety concerns that they have. This problem occurred on Mar. 24, 2010.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Ford Five Hundred

The vehicle was a 2006 Ford Five Hundred. From the day I bought the car the a/c has not worked properly. It only cools at highway speeds or when temperature outside is less than 70 degrees, the engine has never idled smoothly and water collects in the doors. The main issue I've been having is that it surges at stop lights and totally shuts down going down the road. Motor, gauges everything shuts down sometimes for 8-10 seconds. This is sporadic and more common when the a/c is in use. I have had the throttle body cleaned and reprogramed several times with no change what so ever. I just had a new one installed and it shut down on me within 1 mile of dealership. It has been very frustrating to say the least. I've been saying it is something with the a/c since day one but all they wanted to do is replace the throttle body. I am at my wits end and just want it fixed!. The failure date was Monday, April 5, 2010.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Ford F-350

The car is a 1997 Ford F-350. While driving my 1997 Ford f350 diesel pickup, pulling a 36ft gooseneck horse trailer with my two teenage daughters and their four horses, the engine in my pickup spontaneously ignited. There was no "check engine" warning light, and the engine temperature gauge showed normal. The only warning I had was smoke coming up from the left wheel well upon speed decrease to turn a corner. I was traveling a short distance from home and at a low rate of speed (less than 40mph) during the travel from my home to the local fairgrounds for rodeo practice. As I turned the corner, the smoke billowed. I immediately pulled over and smoke filled the cab of the pickup. My two daughters and I quickly evacuated the vehicle and called 911. We quickly unloaded the livestock from the trailer and got far away from the scene. My fiance, who was traveling behind us in another vehicle, tried putting the fire out with the fire extinguisher I carried in my pickup, but to no avail. As an emergency responder himself, he had the presence of mind to unhook the pickup from the horse trailer and push it away as it became engulfed in flames. By the time the fire department arrived, the vehicle was engulfed in flames and a total loss. From the time I noticed the smoke until the fire consumed the vehicle was less than 15 minutes. My daughters have been traumatized by this incident. We have suffered significant financial and economic loss as a result of this spontaneous fire. I need to make people aware of this to prevent others from suffering similar loss, injury or even death. I am aware that there are multiple electrical issues with this make/model vehicle. I received no recall notices from Ford, or warning of any kind that something like this could happen to my vehicle as a result of a faulty part (which is what we believed to be the cause of this fire). This issue happened on April 12, 2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of GMC Sierra

The vehicle was a 2010 GMC Sierra denali. The VIN of this vehicle was 3GTRKXE27A_. I had the oil changed at the dealer on the Friday prior to August 5, 2013 and the warranty was expiring (at that time) in the very near future. Got in the truck to go over to my father's house and stopped at a local gas station that still does full serve (for a penny or two higher than the self serve down the street). As the owner of the station was cleaning my front windshield he ask me what was wrong with the dash and that is when I saw it. Two little cracks from the passenger airbag unit to the defroster vents and one that was coming straight up the drivers side dash hump (where all the gauges go). I called the dealer immediately and the service manager ask me to send pictures of the cracks and the odometer, so he could submit to gm. The finally replaced it, though the owner of the GMC/Buick/Cadillac dealership said that if the warranty had not covered it the dealership would and my understanding was that gm wanted the cracked dash back or at least the batch number. The failure date was Monday, August 5, 2013.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Acura TL

The vehicle involved is a 2004 Acura Tl. The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) is 19UUA66284_. Upon entering my car in the driveway to go to work on January 17th 2013, I noticed that the dashboard had a crack from the windshield to the glove compartment along the passenger side air bag. This crack was not there previously. The following day, I noticed several more cracks above the gauges and around the speakers on the driver's side. The car is meticuously maintained, weather protected (garaged), and driven very few miles. This condition must be a defect in the workmanship and quality of the cars' dashboard that Acura should resolve. I have never seen another manufacturer's car have issues like this. This problem occurred on Jan. 17, 2013.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Honda Element

The car is a 2007 Honda Element. Took vehicle into Honda service dept. As needles had fallen off of tachometer and heat indicator and speedometer was not reading correctly. Service tech took car for drive to test brakes for a recall issue and hit the dashboard when told of needle issue. Rest of needles fell off so now I have no idea of speed or gas and the lights shine directly in drivers face when driving at night which makes it very difficult to see. Honda says there was an update (which has expired) and it will cost me $1,000. To fix the gauge issue. I find it hard to believe that this is not a safety recall and merely an 'update'! this issue needs to be addressed by Honda as this is not a maintenance issue but a manufacturing defect. Checking online has revealed this is a common occurrence for this particular model. It was May 13, 2014 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Honda Odyssey

We owned a 2009 Honda Odyssey . This vehicle has been maintained well for years at hoda dealerships. I have purchased extended warrantee for 120k miles on this vehicle since we were planning to use this vehicle for a long time. Last time I had any work done on this car was in 12/31/13 at a Honda dealership. It was a major service. We did not have any issue with the vehicle until the event that led to the fire on the vehicle. As my wife was driving her Odyssey on I-280/CA-85, she stated that all the warning lights/gauge on the dashboard came on. At the same time she realized that car would not accelerate. When she instinctively looked at the temperature gauge on the dashboard, it was normal (about halfway up) due to this symptom, she was forced to park the car to the side of the highway. At this point, my wife ordered both of my kids in the car to exit the vehicle and move to the side of the road on the highway. She did exit the vehicle as well. As the smoke from the car changed from white to black, she called 911. As she waited for the fire engine to arrive (which according to her took 10 minutes), whole car was engulfed in fire from bumper to bumper. When I arrived at the scene, there were police cars and fire trucks. Two lanes on CA-85 was closed. My wife and my kids were in shock and were crying. I took my wife and kids home afterwards. We lost personal items that were left in the car such as glasses, jackets, and other items. Santa clara county fire department told me that they will be opening up a case. I can not stop to think about what is the reason why this fire occurred on the vehicle. We did not have any indication that this would occur except for the last minute dashboard indication. Considering the vehicle was bought/serviced at Honda, we are beginning to lose faith on Honda vehicle/service in general. This problem occurred on Sunday, January 26, 2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Hyundai Santa Fe

The vehicle involved was a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. Two weeks ago, I started my car and was shocked to see the fuel gauge way below "e" and the light had turned on, along with the "check engine" light. I was afraid I had neglected to get gas, even thought I was pretty sure that when I left the car the night before I was over a 1/4 of a tank. I made it to the gas station and fueled up. I only put $20 in at the time, because I was in a hurry. I got in, started the car and I was up almost full, which is nearly impossible on $20 in a Santa Fe. It turns out I had plenty of gas in the tank and the gauge wasn't registering it properly. This has happened several times in the last two weeks. It's almost like the car needs to "warm up" before the fuel gauge actually registers the amount of gas correctly. And the check engine light continues to go on and off intermittently. I am concerned that problem could worsen with time and will effect other systems in the car. I am also concerned that I may actually run of out gas and be stuck somewhere with my child because the gauge isn't accurate and like all human beings. . I can't always remember the last time I fueled up. It was 08/16/2013 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Infiniti M45

The car involved is a 2003 Infiniti M45. My boyfriend recently bought this car from a dealer that gave him a standard warranty and we have had the car for about 3 weeks now and after research I have found that the car has fuel gauge problems as well as when the vehicle is being steered is feels as if the car will slip. The car makes a few noises when you turn or stop as well. It almost feels as if the tires will fall off. I have mentioned it to him but I let him handle the car business. The fact is I drive the car to transport our child and I am worried about the safety of the vehicle. I also have found that the car has had a recall on it for those specific problems I have previously noted. I am not sure if I can report this or what can I do about this car. It was 03/17/14 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue happened.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Nissan Quest

The car involved is a 2007 Nissan Quest. Yesterday my wife was driving my 7 yr old daughter to school. While traveling on a 8 lane interstate at approx 65mph the van started hesitating and slowing down and then she lost all power to the engine and luckily was able to make it to the shoulder of the interstate. We paid to have it towed to our mechanic. This morning we spoke with our mechanic and he told us the van had run out of gas even though our gas gauge showed we had 1/4 of a tank of gas in the vehicle and our "miles to empty" showed approx 60 mile left until empty. This recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred Thu., May. 15, 2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Nissan Pathfinder

Vehicle is a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. Vehicle demonstrates and experiences the symptoms described in NHTSA campaign number 10v075000. Fuel gauge displays 1/4-tank of fuel present when this information is not correct. Took same vehicle to local Nissan dealer. Asked about this specific recall, and my vehicles valid membership in the NHTSA recall group. Dealer's service department ran a VIN check in "the database" and advised me the recall does not apply to my vehicle, even though it demonstrates exact symptoms described in NHTSA recall. I believe this Nissan dealer is confusing the Nissan "voluntary warranty extension" program described as, "fuel sending unit program" with NHTSA campaign number 10v075000 - the latter not a voluntary but government-ordered recall. In April, 2014, I was driving this vehicle with three young children through the I-64 tunnel under where the atlantic ocean meets the james river in norfolk, virginia. Our vehicle almost ran out of fuel in the undersea tunnel as I was relying upon the fuel gauge's report of just over 1/4-tank of fuel, when it was in fact, nearly empty. Thankfully, we were able to clear the tunnel and make it to a nearby gas station, where based upon the amount of fuel the vehicle took, we were running "on fumes" and could have run out of gas - thereby blocking traffic inside the tunnel. Component(s): fuel system, gasoline. This problem occurred on Friday, August 31, 2012.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Saturn ION

The vehicle is a 2007 Saturn Ion. Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle is 1G8AJ55F57_. Car suddenly stops on hill. Meter in car says car is 3/4 full with gas. So the car was not out of gas. Car must have something wrong with the fuel ignition or something for it to stop. Went and put gas in car to just to make sure , and as soon as I did the car started. It makes no sense for the gas gauge to read it has gas and the car stops. Also when car is parked fuel is on the ground leaking. Not sure what is going on but according to a saftey recall in 2012 I think that is the problem with my Ion also. It was Apr. 23, 2014 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Saturn SL

The vehicle involved was a 2002 Saturn Sl. The gm ignition problems prompting the current recall also affected the car above. I bought the 2002 Saturn new in March of 2003, and owned it for over 10 years, selling it last fall to a friend. I had it at the jake sweeney (cincinnati) dealership several times for strange "electrical" problems. (car did not have auto door locks or windows - everything was manual). I would be driving, when all the dash gauges would go out. It would register no speed, no temp, no gas, no rpms. Odometer didn't move. I could drive the car, stop and start. Then suddenly it would "come to". The dealership thought I was nuts, until finally in early 2013, I was able to get it to the dealership while it was doing it. After days of diagnostics, they said it was the ignition. They replaced the whole thing (at my expense) and the problem was solved. They said "were you aware that you could take the key out while the car was in drive?" (I had not been aware). This issue happened on Tuesday, Mar. 1, 2005.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Subaru Outback

The vehicle is a 2010 Subaru Outback. VIN of the vehicle was 4S4BRBGC6A_. On approximately 04/13/2014 approximately at 6:00 pm et, my suburu Outback 2010 rapidly accelerated when my foot was centered on the brake petal and I moved the gear from neutral to drive. The vehicle lurched forward, engine highly revved. I pushed hard as possible on the brake and shoved the gear back into neutral. The engine was racing and I switched off the power. I powered back up and the temperature gauge, gas mileage calculator, etc. Was out. The ac/heat temperature and control screen was out. The fan control only would work and put out extreme heat. The outside mirror motors would not work. For the next 30 minutes on the way home I stopped several times and experienced the same electrical conditions upon restart. On April 14, 2014, all systems were normal when I started the engine. I took it to the dealer was told they would replace the switch (keys) but had no information on rapid acceleration out of control. I am concerned this will happen again and result in wreck and/or injury to myself and/or others. No mats were in the car at time of incident. This recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred Sun., Apr. 13, 2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Toyota Corolla

Vehicle identification number (VIN): 2T1BU4EE4D_. There is a case where my Toyota Corolla 2013 has an inaccurate reading of its fuel range. Below you can find an instance of the sequence for reproducing the glitch. Step 1: Corolla fuel gauge was showing a little more than 1/4 of the fuel tank capacity. I filled up the tank, after that, the fuel range was showing 294 miles,it was working properly, and the average fuel consumption was 26. 9 miles/gallon. Step 2: travel about 30 miles with the car. Fuel range was showing 265 miles. Step 3: fill up the tank again. Step 4: travel with the car 1 mile. The fuel range showed 264 miles. It has not reset the fuel range yet. Step 5: travel 50 miles more. The fuel range has not reset according the fuel gauge yet. The fuel range is not working properly. Then, go to step 1, the fuel range reset according to the fuel gauge after travel a few meters. I have repeated this sequence over and over again and I have had the same result. It means, as you follow the sequence, the fuel range has an inaccurate reading. I found this glitch when I filled up the tank before tanking a trip out of my city and the tank was almost full. It was 03/17/2013 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue happened.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Toyota Camry

The vehicle is a 2008 Toyota Camry. On my way home from work, at approximately 4:00 pm, while driving at approximately 35 mph, I noticed my dashboard panel lights fluttering, and that the panel instruments were moving up and down (specifically my tachometer and temperature gauge). My speedometer was not registering any speed, even though I was doing about 35 mph, and the brake and abs lights were on and bright red. I took the car to the dealer next day, and I was told that the abs actuator was defective and it would cost me $2492. 00, plus labor to replace the abs actuator. I was also told that regular braking would work, but the abs would not. I like my Toyota Camry 2008. My prior 1996 Camry is still running well, and I also liked it. car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Volkswagen Routan

The car was a 2009 Volkswagen Routan. The VIN of this vehicle was 2V8HW54X99_. Since purchasing the vehicle as a new car in October of 2009 we have experienced intermittent but chronically reoccurring issues with violent shaking during braking on our 2009 vw Routan. To work the problem the rear brake rotors and pads were replaced by the oem three months after purchasing the vehicle. The problem persisted & after repeated visits to the dealer the front brakes and rotors were replaced by the oem at 15,019 miles on October 27, 2010. Vibration during breaking still persisted at highway speeds but was manageable. In July of 2013 heavy vibration returned. The dealer informed us all four tires had uneven wear and would need to be replaced, along with all 4 air pressure gauges. Shaking continued so we then paid to have the front rotors and brake pads replaced again at 47,300 miles (appx) on August 6, 2013. As of now the vehicle still vibrates at highway speed braking although less violently. We believe several issues are at play possibly: - inferior or defective brake rotors, both factory installed and oem replacement rotors - chronic stability issue at highway speeds - uneven wear on tires which contributed to more rapid wear and tear - near simultaneous failure of all 4 air pressure gauges before 50,000 miles. We have kept the replaced tire pressure gauges, break rotors and pads if NHTSA would like to examine. This recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred Wednesday, October 27, 2010.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Volkswagen Routan

The car is a 2010 Volkswagen Routan. Driving on a neighborhood street when a sudden drop in the ac power followed by a quick rise in the engine temp to the top of the gauge. Within 2 minutes steam was observed coming out of the engine. Quickly pulled over to the side of the road. After cooling the engine and opening the hood it was observed that engine coolant was all over the engine parts and boiling off due to the heat. Water was poured in the radiator and a leak was observed from a plastic y joint in the water cooling pipe/assembly. Vw part number 7b0121086b. With the water filled to the max as soon as the engine was started a steady stream of water was observed coming out of the y joint. With over a gallon of water in the vehicle drove the car home and in less than 3 miles the water was completely drained from the system. Please cross reference this with any complaints related to the Chrysler town and country minivan and the Dodge grand caravan as they are all produced by Chrysler corp. The y connector failure was easily found online and appears to be a defective part / design flaw as the plastic piece was not able to withstand the pressure and heat and seemed to split at the seam to cause the leak. This problem occurred on Fri., Jul. 12, 2013.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Volvo S60

The car was a 2003 Volvo S60. The VIN of the problem S60 is YV1RS61T93_. The dashboard has a fault in it, possibly a short or some other electrical fault the problem has been intermittent. But, only recently has become rather acute. Lights and gauges go on and off. Problem has adversely affected the srs airbag system to the point that it is no longer functions and requires resetting; apparently. I am filing this complaint because since doing my research, there have been numerous incidents being reported on the internet. Considering the large number of issues/complaints I have seen about this issue, the problem with my car is aparently not an isolated incident. Repair for such appears to be in the $1,500. 00 to $2,000. 00 range. It was 05/02/2013 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Volvo S60

2003 Volvo S60 experienced "death" of driver information module (dim), which monitors all gauges on the vehicle. Dealership is able to replace the part for $1500! it not available "after market" by another manufacturer. Research online shows this is a very common problem among 2001-2003 models. This major safety concern should be investigated, as numerous people are driving without dash panel information due to the exorbitant cost. The problem began approximately two weeks ago and cannot be remedied without buying the dim. This recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge problem happened on 08/03/2010.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of BMW 740

The vehicle involved was a 1996 BMW 740il. The VIN of this vehicle is WBAGJ8329T_. The gas tank started to make popping noises and thumping sounds. Then when I realized something is wrong when the gas gauge started reading 1/4 tank when it was empty, strangely when I was filling up with gas the cap was hard to remove and as soon as I removed the cap air was rushing in. I ran out of gas on the interstate without any warning managed to get the car on the shoulder. Later on the way to work I started smelling a strong gas odor I assumed it was the cars surrounding me. When I went on my lunch break my coworkers informed me that there was a large puddle of gas under my car, when I got back to work I started to investigate what happened and my tank was imploded and developed leaks around the seams. I find this a major concern since this is right next to a hot exhaust system and may cause a fire due to poor gas tank ventilation. I'm lucky that my car didn't catch on fire due to the amount of gas I lost and noticed leaking on the seams that are extremely close to the exhaust. The failure date was Mar. 1, 2014.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Buick Rainier

VIN of the vehicle was 5GADT13S95_. Crash was involved with this problem. I have various types of problems with my 2005 Buick Rainier. I have owned it for about 6 years now and it currently has a little over 93,000 miles on it. I am reported the problems to you so that you can document the problems to your list and I am also hoping that you can let me know if there is a recall for these issues? 1. Awd is not working. When there was snow on the ground. It caused me to ditch my car when I was turning a corner at a very low speed. There was a car coming towards me, but missed my car. Thank goodness it did not injure someone, myself or my car. The rear also slides when it is wet/raining outside. I'm scared to drive it when it is wet outside. . . Especially when there is snow on the ground. 2. My drivers side door caught on fire. I just seen that my door could have been covered by a recall, but I didn't know that then. I paid for another door and installation. 3. When I am turning my steering wheel to back-up. There is a grinding noise. 4. My speedometer does not work. I drive with other cars when I can, but I also drive several country roads. I have received 2 speeding tickets due to this. 5. My gas gauge does not work. I keep track of my gas by my current mileage and per gallons of gas, but I have still ran out of gas at least 8 times and. . . Nearly got hit in the rear several times. 6. I believe there is a windshield recall. Is it still active? I do know that all of my car problems are very common with Buick Rainier's and I am hoping that there is active recalls on all of these serious issues and that Buick/gm will gladly repair them. These are all safety issues that could result in fatal injuries. Thank you for your help, research and response. Sincerely, marilyn stowers. It was Monday, January 16, 2012 when this recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge issue occurred.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Cadillac SRX

The vehicle is a 2010 Cadillac Srx. The VIN of the car is 3GYFNDEY5A_. The idiot light or gauge light came on indicating that there was an electrical problem. We brought the vehicle right back to the used car dealer and he sent the vehicle down the block to the gm dealer who found some corroding wires , he supposedly fixed them. A couple days later the light came on again and w brought the vehicle back to the used car dealer who again brought it to the dealer where the cadilac was found to be heavily corroded in the harness area by the drivers side. . They told us that there might have been a leaf clog by the windshield and the wipers preventing proper drainedge. And the water backed up into the car. They supposedly changed the harness under the drivers mat. A couple of months later we noticed that the whole drivers sidewindow was very wet. . We dismissed this incident with a mutual befuddlement. A couplpe of months later the whole drivers side window was frozen on the inside of the car. Wekind of figured it had something to do with the drivers window being wet monthe earlier. Now here it is in March of 2014 and my wife was looking for something in the car and she happened to touch the passenger front floor matt right after a heavy rain and she found the floormat soaked she got out the wet-dry vac and pulled near a half a gallon of water from the rug underneath the floor mat. This problem occurred on Sat., Jun. 29, 2013.

car   Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of Jaguar XJ8

The vehicle is a 1999 Jaguar Xj8l. Was on us I-280 northbound at about 8 p. M. , going prevailing speed, going to a social meeting, but with an organizational director. Heard loud pop and car lurched forward abruptly, then engine began to rattle, smoke and burnt rubber/oil smell began to invade cabin. Husband turned off engine and coasted to side of highway and up exit ramp shoulder. Took the car to delong's auto repair, the only known authorized Jaguar service center for at least 50 miles in any direction. Owner, chief mechanic, dave osborne said we had an original defective temperature gauge that gives false readings and car had overheated without showing it on gauge and the headgasket blew causing catastrophic engine failure--on the highway. We were told that Jaguar has a cooling problem with this engine and rather than fix it, they put in gauges that deliberately deceive the owner into believing his/her vehicle is running at a normal temperature when it is not. Previously we've had repeated incidents of "check engine" light going on and took car to Jaguar and others. Nothing seemed out of place, damaged, etc. --mechanics repeatedly told us that it was possible it was a malfunctioning indicator light. "engine coolant" light did same thing. Engine coolant was never low when manually checked. Current mechanic says this is all typical of the deceptive gauged, that the car was probably nearing overheating and faulty indicator was not telling us, except through other indicators that didn't match the manual checks when the engine was turned off. We were lucky to not be hit by other cars as the failure occurred on an interstate highway at night, with few street-lights due to rampant copper thefts in area, and local budget problems. Filing a complaint, here, because we had to sue Jaguar for the last defect. This problem occurred on Fri., Sep. 27, 2013.
