While driving the music will shut off and the dashboard which projects the speed flashes on and off. My headlights and turn signals are also effected by the issue as well; at one point while driving it occurred and my steering wheel locked up while tryin g to make a turn on a city street.

I took my 2014 chevy Cruze ltz to the Chevrolet dealers in 2 different occasions about 2 years apart. The same issue persists. I get all the electric systems to start blinking and turning off and on for a minute and a message appears saying "service stability control". The power steering goes off, and the breaks and the car keeps running so it is dangerous to drive. It caused the car battery to be damaged because the sulfuric acid evaporated and made the car stink so much like rotten eggs. I took it it under warranty they couldn't figure it out (I tested the battery independently and it was perfect-so it was the alternator), I took it again after warranty expired and still they just replaced the (replacement) battery again but I might be risking my life by driving this car which has the "stability" error at random times for a minute and then it disappears but at the dealers they say that they cannot test it unless it happens in front of them.

5/1/2019 my radio started going on and off while driving home then on 5/2/2019 it started blinking "stalibitrak" on my gauge panel along with the radio going on and off. Is this something I need to be concerned with as my car is no longer under warranty and I'm not raking in the dough to have this on my plate along with the other issues with the car. I've only had this car for a year and a half.
Me and my kids were driving down the highway when my 2011 chevy cruise just lost power and my engine stopped working. . . It will not start up at all. Mechanic cant figure out why. I've got tons of sensors going out everytime I turn around and I am a mother of a disabled son. We were on at parkway going 65 to 60 mph. It could have been very bad. It happened ed in madison ville ky.

A week or so ago while driving home from work on the interstate the instrument cluster went dark and the display in the center of it completely shut off. I finished the remaining 30 mins. Of my drive without it returning to normal(lights off display remained off). I didnt have any more issues until today. This afternoon I drove to a family get together and while still in the city my instrument cluster plus my radio display started to randomly shut off then come back on after a second or two sometimes continuously for 10-20 seconds and once for around 30 seconds. Each time they went off the speakers would shut off too and Im not sure if the turn signals worked due to the lack of a display and audio. One instance I also encountered either reduced power steering or complete loss of it for several seconds while losing power to the displays and regaining it approximately 15 times over about a 30 second timeframe. After that I got a stabilitrak message but steering was normal for the rest of the drive. However the cluster, radio display, speakers, etc. Continued to randomly turn off for a second or two then come back on. When we left the gathering within a minute of starting the car(hadnt even made it out of the driveway) everything started shutting down then coming back on just like earlier but steering wasnt effected again and no stabilitrak message on the way home either. Today the drive started in a city then was open highway for about 20 mins. And the gathering was at a house on the outskirts of a town. The loss of power to the things I mentioned above seemed to be completely random and were not effected by speed, stop and go traffic, or open highway. The one time steering was effected I was taking off at a stop light but its hard to say if that was a factor since none of the other stops were.
Car seems to stall while driving (recurrent/ constant problem for 4 months: car has < 65k miles). Engine/ loss of stabilitrack lights come on and engine revs high without speed. Lights on radio blink and engine/oil/ coolant leaks. Despite attempts to fix problems, car continues to stall out, leaving driver stranded in roadway. Engine reboots are temporary fix, but the computer seems to be taking out systems 1 by 1. Gm specialist had car for 2 weeks in January & could not solve.
Takata recall. Recently while driving, my car will randomly say service stabilitrak or service traction control whenever I turn the wheel backing up but wasnt affecting the car in any way as far as I could tell. My headlights would also flicker at the same time so I figured it had to be something electrical. Yesterday while turning onto a different street and today while driving straight down a street I lost power steering.
My car is hard shifting and no gm dealer can figure it out they say nothing but take my money and my car will alert transmission hot idle engine very scary has even up and stopped going 35 miles in my hometown.
My vehicle will say the drivers door is open when it is not, it will shut off and on. The alarm system goes off when ever it feels like it even driving down the road. There is nothing to do when it does this you just have to let it go off until it stops. The speed gauge changes from what the non digital one says. And the engine light shuts off and on when you hit a bump.
While driving my car the radio dashboard will start flashing on and off on its own then when I put the car in park and turn it off the key is stuck in the ignition and the dashboard is completely black and the car will not turn on at all. 3/28/2019 around 11pm the car radio dash board was flashing and I turn my car off and it will not allow me to take the key out at all well some time through out the night the car turned back on because at 6am the lights where back on in my car by itself. The next morning I drive my car to school and it does the same thing with the dashboard and flashing on and off and it shuts off again, this time I get a jump start and the car is back working. The car also act as if it was going to shut off while driving it. But it has done this to me back on November 8,2018. I fear for my life driving this car beacuse you have no idea when the car will shut off while on the road. Someone has to do something about this issue because if some one die in a car accident and it is found to be electrical problems there is a big law suit coming. I am making this complaint just for that. We spends literally thousands of dollars on a car and when the car has a defect the consumers are messed over by the dealerships and whom ever makes the car. Then you have to have so many complaints in order for a recall or is it how many people have to die in order for someone to look and see that this car has electrical issues and will shut off on you at ant time. Hello! it never fails the car starts giving you issue after the warranty has expired its like they have it program. I am complaining because they are avoiding the fact that this car has major electrical issues and how many complaints or lives will it take for a recall? my car was stationary, in motion, on the highway when this all happened. Ref#14v417000 the dealership replace the black cable but my car is still.
Multiple dash and system failures resulting in stalls and loss of steering and power. Essentially locking up. Very dangerous conditions in traffic. Most recently dash indicating anti-thief deterrent system warning. These conditions have happened over the last full year. Dealer diagnosis was nill. I have been having to review public videos for help. May or may not be a negative cable battery issue but Chevrolet has yet to recall this! I am fearing for my safety.
I went and got this vehicle from Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram of rome GA and I was driving and out of nowhere the car acted like it didnt want to go forward in traffic and the speed stayed on 0 and idled out on me. When I tried to turn right my car wouldnt go and somebody had to push my vehicle. When I tried to drive it, it was in drive and wouldnt go 20 mph. I got the vehicle March 13 and havent had it for a month and experienced this. It was a very scary situation and I felt like I could have lost my life. I was trying to turn and put of nowhere it wouldnt go over 20 mph. Most scariest sirtiation evrer. .
My 2016 chevy Cruze LS started making a roaring noise while driving down the road then the steering got very stiff I barely made it home and I called the dealership and they informed me that if I continue to drive the car this way the steering will lock up at anytime and it could cause a very bad accident for I will not have no control over the car.

Went out and started car up. Car was shaking and service stabilitrac and service traction control were on the dash screen. This happened back in December as well and then the car eventually stopped working altogether.

I have several issues with this car I have a mechanic looking at it now and I can give you a detailed report of every thing he finds wrong with it when he is done I do know that I loss engine power in the middle of the street while waiting to turn at a light.
I had the car for almost 4 years and some warranty has expired. Now Im experiencing lots of problems. First it was coolant leak, radiator, water pump, thermostat and now the head gasket are out called dealership & gm and they say the cant do nothing about it. Currently still paying for a for the car and have not received no help for either parties mention above. I will like to know if this car is in the lemon law or if someone can help me. Thank you.
Driving my 2015 chevy Cruze ltz rs on a road trip my check engine light came on due to a O2 sensor which is no big deal, planned on replacing. But the next morning the service traction control came on and after doing research on this a lot of people have had this same thing happen to them. Some say a faulty ground wire on the battery and others say they had to replace a bunch of sensors on the car. It seems to not be running smoothly and don't want to change a bunch of sensors and cables unnecessarily if gm knows about this problem and it seems like a manufacturer defect. There should be some kind of recall on at least the ground wire if that is the problem.

Tried twice, car did not start. No lights just dead. Tried once more started, all looked ok. Drove 1/4 mile engine died with a clunk and jerk, service power steering warning came on, then service traction control warning came on. Steered off road (power steering was working) put vehicle in park, tried to start several times. Interior light came on but would not start. After several minutes tried again, started and check engine light was lit. Drove to home and while in reverse to park, engine died again.
The steering wheel sticks when I am driving. Its extremely noticeable when driving on the highway or making turns. The electrical system comes on and off when the vehicle is operational. All of a sudden my radio will go on and off and the air conditioner and the heater will stop working. I have 5 children and 3 still at home and Im afraid to drive my car but unfortunately its all we have.
Tl- the contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while ascending up a hill at approximately 70 mph the vehicle suddenly lost power and reduced speed to 20 mph. During the incident the service stabilitrac and check engine light had illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer weimer Chevrolet(10355 mt. Savage road NW. Cumberland MD. ) who diagnosed that the engine piston had fail and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 82,800. Jft.
Driving last night from work to home at i96 westbound (livonia-mi) around 7pm, I started getting messages in my cluster such as service stabilitrak, service traction control and engine power is reduced. Just suddenly my car lost all the power and throttle when I was travelling in a highway around 70 mph on the second fastest lane. It was very scary and dangerous situation once my throttle was complete unresponsive and could find myself at the middle of the highway at 5mph . My instinct was to turn on the hazard lights and try to move the car to the slowest lane as safe as possible. I feel lucky that no one hit me in the back and I consider that I was lucky to have this problem at this time of the evening. Luckily I was able to take the exit 173b to levan rd and from there park the car to evaluate it. I could not find any visible defect either internally or on engine compartment. I turned off the engine and on several times and still had the same cluster messages and derated power. I was still able to drive the car safely to the parking lot of madonna university looking for a safer place to wait for my insurance company. When waiting for the aaa operator I was able to re-start the car with no display message but only with the engine check light on. I drove the car in the parking lot and noticed the car seemed to be ok. Once on that time I was still waiting for the aaa operator I decided to take levan rd northbound and I was able to safe arrive home. Checking the symptom I had in google and youtube I learned about the problem with the negative battery cable which is already known by NHTSA and gm. I hope my incidence can be investigated and a decision for recall be taken. I don't see any difference to what experienced with the ignition switch topic therefore this issue should be considered as potential recall. Please feel free to contact me at any time for more details.
While driving the car on an off ramp the display panel showed 3 warning light, abs, traction control, and brake. The communication panel, where the speed and all communications about the car are given, then said reduced engine power and my car slowed down and my power steering stopped working. The panel then also said service stabilitrak and service traction control. It has happened more than once since I bought the vehicle and the dealer replaced the the ecm a few years ago and it hasn't fixed the issue as it still occurs. The most recent event happened last week.
My dashboard lights begin flashing, the radio turns off, the blinker sound stops working, the antilock brake system, service traction system, service stabilitrac and steering vehicle messages flash on the dashboard. I saw this issue reported in a gm bulletin https://static. Nhtsa. Gov/odi/tsbs/2015/sb-10057574-8899. Pdf but my dealership said my car isn't affected even though it is that year, make, and model and the same exact things are happening. It happens when I am driving, it started off once or twice a trip, now it is constantly happening so much so I cannot even listen to music. It seems to happen more often when I am in stop/go traffic.
Turbo charger valve failed causing multiple other issues. Car shuts off randomly. Stability track keeps coming on even after the wire to the battery was replaced.
I was leaving work, onto a busy street and the headlights flickered, the check engine icon appeared on the dash, along with engine power is reduced, service traction control & service stabili trak. My car slowed down to about 5 miles and I was almost hit. I reversed back into my company's lot. Someone scanned my car and the code was for p2135. Doing research, I found it was a previous recall for this issue but can't find any now.
