Radiator problems of the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country
Two problems associated with radiator have been reported for the 2010 Chrysler Town & Country.
Radiator problem #1
The vehicle having this issue was a 2010 Chrysler town and country. Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle is 2A4RR5D13A_. Brand new Chrysler town and country 2010 with 600 miles on it blew a gasket on the return line to the radiator that sprayed coolant over the engine block. Steam rose from under the hood in large volume nearly blinding me as I drove. When I stopped the truck and lifted the hood the steam cloud burned my face. This problem occurred on Friday, Jul. 9, 2010.
Radiator problem #2
The vehicle identification number (VIN) is 2A4RR6DX5A_. Owner of 2010 Chrysler Town & Country limited with 4. 0l v-6 reports that vehicle stalled at a red light and could not be restarted. Vehicle towed to nearest Chrysler dealer. Dtc p0688 asd/main sensor circuit. Found blown fuse f343 circuit. Repl fuse and started okay, but did wiggle tests on pcm harness and vehicle stalled again. Traced problem to wire in harness shorting out against lower intake manifold by the upper radiator hose. Replaced entire wiring harness with new one, and added extra conduit to harness to prevent wires rubbing against intake manifold and shorting again. Warranty repair. Tested okay; no dtcs; do stalling. This issue happened on Sunday, July 4, 2010.
