3 Seat belts rear defect investigations of Buick Riviera vehicles

Alleged failure or loss of the return spring in the outboard rear seat belt retractor assemblies prevents proper seat belt tension or fit on the occupant

4 Seat belts rear defect investigations of Buick Riviera vehicles
This investigation was opened on Sep. 15, 1999. It was closed on Feb. 22, 2000. Odihas received seven complaints of alleged rear seat belt retractor problems on model year (my 1995 Oldsmobile aurora and my 1995-96 Buick riviera vehicles. The complaints state that the retractor mechanisms fail to retract the belt webbing, thus not providing secure fit for the occupants.
