Jeep steering hydraulic power assist hose, piping, and connections defect investigations
This investigation was opened on Jul. 19, 2012. It was closed on Dec. 7, 2012. The office of defects investigation (odi) analyzed complaint data provided by Chrysler as well as complaints submitted to odi from consumers. Odi's analysis identified a total of 24 unique reports indicating power steering hose blow-offs resulting from a dislodged power steering cooler turbulator

Jeep air bags frontal sensor/control module defect investigations
This investigation was opened on Sep. 23, 2011. It was closed on Jan. 30, 2012. Based on analysis of Chrysler's response, and including odi's consumer complaints, odi has identified 87 reports of air bag inadvertent deployment incidents resulting in 50 alleged injuries. The injuries consists of burn/cuts and bruises to the upper body region.
