The gas tank fell onto the road while driving to pick up my daughter from the bus. I immediately pulled over due to the sound. I then saw the front of the gas tank on the ground , half a mile down the road I was traveling there are alot of pit holes and that could of ended in a fire or worse with my tank dragging the ground. I have taken it to the dealership that would help repair the recall but they have yet to repair or give me information about what the manufacturer has said on what to do. They told me it is to rusty underneath to repair and contacted manufacturer. I am without a vehicle its been almost 2 weeks and I have a 6 year old child and my own health issues that inquire dr appointments. I have no money for a rental and no family or friends who can help with rides. I am unsure of what to do next I just know this is extremely frustrating considering I had purchased this vehicle only a few months ago.

Fuel pump won’t shut off when car is turned off, I had to pull out fuel pump fuse because my battery kept getting drain, I’ve had difficulty starting and it’s only been a month since I bought this car,I’ve had to buy a bypass cable to temporarily fix the issue, this has happen to so many people, there should be a recall on the timp failing.

Heating & ventilation, I have lost heat in my truck, issues with fuel pump/filte where truck won’t start, and had the water pump had to be replace. I believe the majority of the things listed had recalls. What is included in the recalls and can a recall be replaced more than 1x?.

Fuel pump randomly shuts down while driving. Or no start condition. Loss of cruise control hitting bumps in the road. Service 4x4, no tc, no cc, trailer lights disconnect. Dealer has recalls on other same year vehicles w same motor w same tipm defective part. Not on truck. Warranty will not cover due to common problem. Since fuel relay is part of fuse box, will not cover part. Part alone is $2200. Dealer only. Can't get remanfactured, rebuilt, or part store item. Stuck with a truck that barely runs and almost $3000 to fix a non warranty issue. And very common.
Driving my vehicle throughout December of 2024 and the vehicle would die and power back up, vehicle would run intermittently and fail to continue operating while driving to and from work. Vehicle intermittently stalling during driving would cause "near miss" accidents on the road. Potentially endangering myself as the operator and other operators on the road due to a "no start" issue and unsafe operating condition in the electrical system of the vehicle. I thought it was a bad battery so I replaced it with a brand new battery from the auto parts store while I struggled to have this matter resolved before leaving for army active duty. I arranged to have the vehicle turned into a Chrysler, Dodge, ram dealer to have a diagnostic done on the vehicle. On June 6th according to their technicians report, it shows my tipm is bad. And needed to be replaced. The dealer failed to acknowledge this was a recall issue and would not cover the repair cost since the vehicle was out of warranty due to mileage and age. When their our hundreds of models being turned in for the same issue nationwide.
My 2011 Ram 1500 5. 7l has a faulty tipm. Fuel pump cuts out, causing stalling and intermittent operation, starting vehicle becomes problematic while commuting. Vehicle will sometimes not start at all and will remain stuck in an ignition loop. Continues to throw random check engine codes. I have had several near miss collisions while driving due to its unsafe condition I took the vehicle in to have a diagnostic done and a licensed Chrysler dealer deduced the vehicle has a faulty tipm, which correlates to the mass recall on the 2011 Ram 1500 models however my VIN does not show its associated with the many models of 2011 Ram 1500 when I cross referenced this.
The truck was sitting at home in the driveway (untouched) for 3 days. Suddenly smoke began to appear from under the hood and within minutes, the engine compartment burst into flames. Because of the fire, smoke and water damage, the vehicle was considered a total loss by the insurance company. The fire marshal advised that the fire started in the vicinity of the passenger side starter battery. It is thought the fire originated from the battery or the grid heater relay that is very near the passenger side battery. The fire also damaged a nearby RV that experienced smoke and heat damage. It was a very intense fire. There were no open recalls on this vehicle and no recent maintenance work performed.
My truck first started having trouble starting . When driving engine it would shut-off at anytime making it dangerous to steer and breakdown in traffic. There was no fault codes or warning lights on dash . After doing testing I found that the fuel pump relay was shut-off. Tipm is faulty and all Chrysler that have this style of tipm should be added to recall . I purchased a external fuel pump relay harness to repair tipm.
Tipm failure. Vehicle fails to start ("crank, no start" or it acts likes it's out of gas) and/or fuel pump continues pumping after turning the vehicle off (draining battery). The vehicle stalls while driving which has created very unsafe conditions. There has been recalls on other Dodge vehicles with same problem. This needs to be a uniform recall on all affected vehicles.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed, and the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled, and then the vehicle lost power steering functionality. The contact stopped the vehicle and had to wait for over one hour before being able to restart the vehicle. The contact drove the vehicle to an independent mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the fuel pump relay had failed and informed the contact that there was a recall for the failure. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 15v115000 (electrical system) however, neither the VIN nor the vehicle was included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

Driver warning light came for airbag, yes it could be if deployed, no dealer has confirmed (but looked up recall # 15v459000), called molar said no recall on my vehicle…. , no one else looked at vehicles book says to immediately take to dealer, yes warning light on follow book info and it appeared 9/8/24.
The digital instrument cluster gauges does not work sometimes and the digital speedometer does not does not work at all. Without the gauges its hard to say how slow/fast or what the vehicle is doing. It was just inspected. No prior signs or symptoms of this. I know this is not the first this has happened but over several years of Dodge ram trucks do this.
Shut off vehicle and fuel pump kept running. Tapped on totally integrated power managment module and stuck relay corrected, so the fuel pump shut off. Found a safety recall (safety recall r09/NHTSA 15v-115) for stuck relay in tipm on same year Dodge durango and Jeep grand cherokee. A quick search of many automotive enthusiast forums indicates this issue is common in my particular year, make, and model vehicle as well. I believe this recall should be expanded to include all Dodge products using similar timp/fuel relay configurations. It is very likely this relay could have been stuck off, while driving causing an unexpected engine shutdown. In my case I was lucky it was stuck on.
Failure to start. Engine cranks but will not start. Remote start fails. Door locks sometimes do not work, radio failures, engine stalls unexpectedly, tpm failure, serv 4wd warning light is displayed sporadically. This was a recall on 2011 and 2012 Chrysler vehicles except the ram. The ram also has the same issues as the other recalled vehicles. Why was the ram excluded from the recall?.
Ignition, key fob will not correctly start engine. Engine dies going down the road , will not stay running after you start engine it just dies and kicks the key fob out to the floor. Trying to retrieve the fob and restarting the engine, and not crashing is a serious problem. Have nearly been in major crashes because of this .

My trucks ignition switch just stops turing my truck on I've seen multiple complaints about the same issue leaves you stranded.
The dash warning light appeared referring to a possible problem with the airbags. I took vehicle to the local dealer and I was informed after their inspection that I did have a problem the passenger airbag. They said they would need to replace passenger seat airbag and wiring harness associated with that device.
The contact owns a 2012 Ram 1500. The contact stated when the vehicle was turned off and in park, he accidentally bumped the gear shit lever and the vehicle slipped out of park (p) without the brake pedal being depressed. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 17v821000 (power train). The contact stated that he had attempted to set numerous appointments with a local dealer but was unable to set an appointment for the vehicle. Additionally, while driving approximately 55 mph the contact stated that he began to smell a burning plastic odor. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact observed that smoke was being emitted from the defroster vents on the top of the dash board. The contact stated that he pulled off of the roadway and shut the vehicle off. The contact stated as he exited the vehicle he observed pieces of burning melted plastic were dripping from under the dash and onto the vehicle floor carpets. The contact stated he called the fire department. The fire department arrived and extinguished the flames with a chemical fire extinguisher. The contact stated that the dash board and the right front passenger side were burned by the flames. There was extensive damage to the dashboard. The contact stated that the police also arrived but was not sure if a report had been written. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The contact stated that prior to the fire the contact had been smelling a burnt plastic smell when using the heater/defroster. The failure mileage was approximately 95,700. The VIN was not available.

2008 Ram 1500 4 door p/up truck. Factory radio/ . Noise coming from cd player when radio was playing . Saturday morning , radio off . Radio screen lights up like the inside of a bread toaster . Orange lines appear on the screen. And get hot to the touch . Looks like melting wires . I pulled over and disconnected the battery negative . Looked for a radio fuse in the fuse panel . But was unsuccessful . There was a burning smell coming from the radio or dashboard still hot to the touch after unsuccessfully locating a radio fuse anywhere . I reconnect the battery negative and noticed the same problem is occurring and then disconnected the negative and call for assistance . Please help.

I had one repair shop tell me that it has something to do with the fuel but the problem continue, the second repair shop said it was a brain box issue, if this was safety issue or problem can I get reimbursed.

The contact owns a 2012 Ram 1500. The contact stated the vehicle would fail to start up after multiple attempts; as well as, shut off while traveling at various speeds. The electronic throttle control system warning light had appeared on the instrument panel. The contact had replaced both the fuel pump and the tipm(totally integrated power module) on his own; however, the failure persisted. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed him that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was 125,000.
My 2012 Dodge ram shuts off or stalls for no apparent reason. Sometimes upon starting, while going down the freeway (at freeway speeds), as well as speeds in between, this has happened with my family in the vehicle and even when we are towing our stock trailer with animals inside. This is very scary for all of us and dangerous for all those on the round around us. While we have not been involved in any accidents, its just a matter of time. There is never any warning when this happens and it not only shuts off it looses power to everything. So times it catches its self and restarts, other times we have to manually restart the engine.
Mechanic said tipm went bad. All gages guit working, check engine light stays on wind shield whipers turn on & off, engine stalls, all lights randomly turn on and off head lights turn signals exc. Transmission and 4 wheel drive say repair. Anti lock breaks acting up. Mechanic said this is happening alot for 2004 Dodge ram trucks.

This vehicle had last been started and driven 7 hrs prior and exploded in the driveway, caught the house on fire and nearly killed my son who was near the inside wall of the house. The engine blew and then the front tires. Three explosions in all before the fire department was able to stop the fire. Luckily they were only a mile away. This was an older but well running vehicle.
Unknown will be driving down the road and the truck will shut off. When this happens it also affects the power steering and the power brakes. Has happened at a spotlight and I had to push it thru a busy intersection. Has happened going down the road just at random. No warning. But it does show (no bus) when this happens but it does not trigger a code or engine light try to start it and it will not start. Sometime it's only a few minutes up too 1/2 hour the last time it cut off.

Vehicle caught fire in drive way while raining seems as though the ac blower resistor caught fire.
The contact owns a 2012 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at 15 mph, the electronics in the vehicle behaved erratically and the vehicle lost all motive power. After restarting the vehicle, it seemed to return to normal functionality but has since become a regular occurrence. The battery warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the tipm. The contact stated that the tipm had been replaced three weeks prior. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA campaign number 14v530000 (electrical system), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 140,000.
