The vehicle involved was a 1998 Ford Expedition. While driving on freeway consumer heard a loud pop in vehcile, and then vehicle started to shake. Consumer took vehicle to the dealer, and dealer noted that head gasket had blowen out. This problem occurred on 12/31/2001.
Blown Head Gasket problem #2
The vehicle is a 1998 Ford Expedition. The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) was 1FMRU1764W_. Without warning vehicle stalled. Consumer had to coast off the road. Consumer had the vehicle towed to the dealer, and mechanic determined that engine head gasket failed, causing the engine to malfunction. Both head gasket blew and needed to be replaced. This problem occurred on June 2, 2004.
