#2 - Turn Signal Switch problem of the 2001 Ford Expedition
The car involved is a 2001 Ford Expedition. The VIN of this Expedition is 1FMRU16W11_. : the contact stated while using the turn signals, the turn signal switch malfunctioned. While turning the steering wheel, the turn signal switch disengaged before completing the curve. The turn signal switch permanently malfunctioned and is inoperable. The contact spoke with the dealer verbally on the phone about the problem. The vehicle is scheduled for inspection and repair. This turn signal switch issue occurred Thu., Feb. 16, 2006.

The car was a 1997 Ford Expedition. Vehicle identification number (VIN): 1FMEU17L8V_. Multi-function switch which controls windsheild washers and wipers has failed 5 times in less than 5 years and the result of the failure is the inability to activate the washer system. At any given time, if the windsheild becomes fouled, I do not know if I will be able to clean it or if my vision will be seriously impaired. This issue happened on Thursday, July 12, 2001.
