Wheel Cover/hubcaps Problems of Ford F-250

The contact owns a 2000 Ford F-250. The contact received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign id number 07e106000 (wheels:cap/cover/hub), which stated that he should check the hub to verify if the component was defective. Upon inspection, he noticed that the hub assembly had rusted, which prevented him from seeing a code for the hub. Therefore, he could not determine if his component was defective. The manufacturer stated that because he could not see any codes, that meant that his vehicle was not affected by a recall. The vehicle has not been repaired. The VIN was unknown.
