#1 - Emission Control problem of the 2005 GMC Envoy
The car was a 2005 GMC Envoy. Emissions light would come on for a day or two and then go off for weeks. When having vehicle 50,000 mile service they hooked it up to the computer and got both a p0128 bad thermostat code and a p0463 fan clutch failure code. This care is less than 3 years old and should not have these problems. The thermostat was replaces as well as the fan clutch at great expense as the extended warranty did not cover the thermostat or the flush of the coolant system that went along with replacing said thermostat. The failure date was 04/16/08.
