GMC Envoy owners have reported 5 problems related to turn signal flasher unit (under the exterior lighting category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer 2005 GMC Envoy has a defect that can not be repaired. Vehicle stalled. The hazard lights came on when the turn signal was in use. The dealer replaced a bad flasher.

Driver applied the turn signal and the turn signal failed to work properly. Driver noticed that the right turn signal would come and off on its own. Driver took the vehicle to the dealer, and mechanic determined that the turn signal unit needed to be replaced.

When right directional signal was actuated, intermittently would also activate hazard (4-way) flashers. Dealer replaced flasher module (ref TSB 30842014) and has been ok since then.

2004 GMC Envoy developed the following problems: vehicle stalled, turn signals stopped working, blower fan stopped working, and the srs light remains lit. The turn siganls stopped working due to a short in the flasher. The powertrain control module was replaced due to the ses light iluminating. The blower motor fan failed 4 times due to a short in the wires and control head. The vehicle overheated, but the problem could not be diagnosed. The lcd displays, knobs become extremly hot after hours of driving.
All these problems come and go, somtimes depending on the outside temperature. Some of it got fixed and came back again. The major problems are that the vehicle shuts down without any warning - no engine no electric nothing-, so its even not possible to call on star! the other thing is that the transmission start to shift gears while driving on a leveled raod at consistant speed. All this items got fixed and come back after a while. Dt.
