: the contact stated the abs system engages at low speeds of approximately 5-10 mph. There is a grinding noise heard as the braking occurs. The brake pedal has to be depressed to the floor before stopping will occur. There is an NHTSA recall, # 05v379000, regarding the hydraulic: antilock. The VIN was not included in the recall.

The contact stated about three -four weeks ago the abs kicked in at low speeds, and he has no stopping power. The dealer told the contact the bearing hubs needed to be replaced. About two weeks ago he noticed a grinding noise coming from the transmission area. The dealer told him the transfer case needed to be removed and likely replaced.
