The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Accent. While driving various speeds, the engine sputtered and stalled and the check engine indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (waikem Hyundai, 3748 Lincoln way e, massillon, OH 44646 (330) 478-0281) where it was diagnosed with a faulty ignition coil cylinder two that needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact mentioned that this was an ongoing issue with the vehicle and had been taken to waikem Hyundai several times where it was diagnosed with different ignition coil cylinder failures. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

The contact owns a 2000 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that the vehicle was parked with the engine shut off when the engine engaged independently. The contact stated that the key was not in the ignition at the time of the failure. The contact entered the vehicle and attempted to insert the key into the ignition but to no avail. The contact then depressed the brakes and was able to simultaneously insert the key into the ignition to shut the engine off. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostics or repairs. The manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was filed but no other assistance was offered. The approximate failure mileage was 76,126.
