2 Car Stall problem of the 2008 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 07/11/2018

Almost daily stalling at low speeds. When coming to a slowdown, the vehicle will stall with no error codes or lights given except for power completely turning off. This has resulted in numerous near misses since steering is then not powered and at times in the middle of an intersection. Restart is possible by putting the car in neutral and restarting. I worry that this can cause a wreck when stalling in the middle of the intersection with traffic coming. At times, when coming to a slowdown, the car will stutter as if rpms drop very low but does not stall. The stall and near stall happens frequently.

3 Car Stall problem of the 2007 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 05/29/2018

There is hesitation, almost stalling, when I am either going slow, when I am taking off from a stopped position, or when I am going up a hill behind vehicles at a light, so I am starting and stopping becaue we are not getting through the light. This should be a recall and not just a bulletin. This is very dangerous. If I try to pull out and my car hesitates, stops, or stalls it can put me and other drivers in danger. I cannot understand how this issue has not been made a recall. I've had it fixed once already and the issue is happening again. There have been many complaints regarding this exact same issue bulletin # itb11-018. I should not have to pay for having a safe vehicle to drive because they made it wrong. Hesitation is a safety issue because it can cause the car to not take off properly from lights or pulling out onto streets. Please resolve this issue quickly. This happens every single time I drive the car. Thank you.

34 Car Stall problem of the 2005 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 09/06/2013

I was on my way to school doing 65 on the freeway when my car loses power and starts to stall in the freeway. It sounded like it was going to explode and couldn't accelerate. I got off the next exit and immediately pulled over in a gas station. Later on I brought it to the shop and told me my camshaft broke. There was a recall for 2003/2004 models for camshaft doing this but stopped for 2005 even though my car did the same thing as they did. Called Infiniti and they had nothing to say. Thankfully I wasn't hurt but I really wish Infiniti stepped up and fixed this problem for the 2005 models because it is not safe and can cause an accident. They did it for 03/04 models and if it does it in the 05's why not do a recall also.

35 Car Stall problem of the 2005 Infiniti G35

Failure Date: 08/08/2013

Vehicle stalled while in motion creating a danger on the roadway. Restarted, but the engine hesitated before turning over. Check engine, vdc & slip warning lights were displayed and remained on. Dealer inspected vehicle and determined a faulty cam sensor and remedied to replace costing almost $500. There is currently a recall on the 2003 model which had the same problem. Recall #03v455000. Infiniti will not correct the problem at their expense without a recall. It should be assumed newer models will exhibit similar problems as the original recall. I hope subsequent models will be added to the original recall. Most owners are not aware of reporting these issues until serious injuries occur and there's litigation. Please investigate and pressure manufacturer to issue a recall.
