For a couple weeks on & off it’s been not wanting to go when I step on gas. I remember this doing same sort of thing before allen web supposedly replaced my transmission as it was one of millions that are faulty as is one they put in 2018 only has 18,000 miles on tbis supposed replaced transmission & it’s in a mechanic shop as I write this a waiting on hopefully Nissan paying for this faulty transmission. I shouldn’t have to buy one when it’s only got 18,000 miles on it. I’ve almost been rear ended due to this ongoing problem. People behind me are ready to go when light turns green. I floor my gas pedal & it does nothing . Have to hurry put my flashers on pray to god no one hits me & flag everyone to go around. I turn car off put I park first of course , wait few seconds & sometimes it thankfully goes into gear & I baby it rest of way as I don’t want to make it worse by flooring my gas pedal. I’m very careful & pray I make it rest my way to work or home whichever the case . I barely made it to work other day. My friend thankfully had my Nissan Cube towed to a shop as it turns out it in fact had all same codes as before they supposedly put newer one in p1778 p0868 p0725, p0746 & so on transmission cvt transmission failure! $2,935 plus other huge problem totaling $4,431 ! I definitely shouldn’t have to be dealing with any of this again!! I don’t drive far to work, had surgery as well so didn’t drive many places for a bit this is why only gone 18,000 miles in 4 years. I called auto mall Nissan & asked about my warranty they told me it’s expired! for only 18,000 miles put in it that’s ridiculous! hwy robbery! talk about a lemon again. Could of been smashed up by a truck being behind me a lot of things could of happened endangering myself as well as drivers behind me & behind those people. Plus dangerous being on side of road waiting to see if it’s gonna go into gear again or not! I understand things wear out but this transmission should be good thousands of miles!.

At 110k my car stalled. Mid summer 2020 I started my car it began to drive then stopped moving at a traffic light on liberty st in spfld, massachusetts. I had to be pushed out of the road into the cumberland farms that was to the left front of me. My car would start up but there was no power when you pressed gas in drive. It would turn on but wouldn't drive. I had it sent to Nissan dealership and they confirmed the transmission had failed due to cvt issues the belt and it would cost estimate of $3500 to replace. I emptied my savings and bought a new car. I still own my Nissan because it has less than 120k and is in mint condition expect the transmission failure. I paid for toes and rentals while my car was serviced at Nissan as well.

My cat transmission is failing. I only have 101k miles and a new transmission isn't in my budget. Please get Nissan to extend the warranty to 120k like on previous models. I have 5 kids and need my vehicle to get them to and from school. The first sign is a horrendous whining sound. Then slipping and failure.
Cvt transmission failure ~ safety issue slow to start ~ same as 100's of reports on internet car was at warranty end and Nissan said only fix for small leak was to replace the whole cvt~ as per current pending class actions against Nissan for 2013-2017 cvts being replaced repeatedly with the same failing transmission ended in repair cost to customer. Nissan offered to pay for parts but not labor. Why would I pay to put the same bad part on the car? why is there not a class action for 2012 Nissans? this car had a fuel leak that took many months to repair and find. Then the a/c was not working and mechanic said it might be related to the open ended temp gage for outside temp that this model did not have, only fix he had was electrical tape which I told Nissan was not a good fix and have work order through Nissan for this. A/c was o ring which may relate back to transmission failure the whole thing basically was shaking apart. So the dealer filled the a/c and failed to find oring leak and also failed to find transmission leak when I told them I wanted everything checked per the warranty ending. Master mechanic found it when I brought it back now they want to charge me labor on new cvt only I read cvt break repeatedly and some people had bought 3 or 4 transmissions! there needs to be a recall of all cvts.

Cvt transmission failed in middle of intersection. Lucky it re-engaged just in time to avoid being t-boned. Towed 2010 Cube to dealer, determined cvt failed and needs new cvt transmission. Learned cvt transmission is covered in service campaign but Nissan still refused to correct known issue stating it was out of warranty. This is a huge safety issue that Nissan is refusing to avoiding notifying owners of the risk of driving a 2010 Cube. Mileage is just over 120,000 miles. Other than the abrupt transmission failure when driving, the car is in great condition. Not only is Nissan selling Cubes that go just over 120,000 then break, they are hiding in the fact this is a huge safety issue. Nissan wants $4,500 to fix a safety problem they 100% know is a big issue.

This car since purchase has had the transmission replaced four times. When the transmission fails the car coasts to a stop which on the highway is a danger as the car is susceptible to be hit by other cars. In addition when the transmission fails the engine stops and the braking system is rendered inoperable the only way to stop the car is via the emergency break. The transmission failure in these cars is a known problem as nisan has extended the warranty t ten years. When the transmission failed on my son he was on the highway and barely made it to the breakdown lane without getting hit. This is a serious safety issue due to the fact if the disabled car is hit it could cause fatalities due to the failure of the systems.
Internal transmission failure , made a wide right turn and vehicle went into safe mode. Cvt issue . . . No check engine light ever came on warning for caution.
Tl-the contact owns a 2011 Nissan Cube. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, the transmission failed. The check engine warning indicator illuminated. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000. Tw.
