The vehicle involved was a 2001 Toyota Sienna. Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle is 4T3ZF13C71_. Leased vehicle new in April 2001. To date, have had 11 brake replacements in a period of 21 months. Brakes squealing immediately after being replaced, sounds like a semi coming to stop. Filed under florida lemon law, which dealer said "could not duplicate concern-operating to design & intent". Brakes grind metal to metal after a short period of time. Vibration & uneven, premature tire wear despite several alignments. Vehicle also makes clunking sound when breaking in reverse & initial acceleration. It was Nov. 1, 2002 when this clunking noise issue happened.

#2 - Clunking Noise problem of the 1999 Toyota Sienna
The vehicle involved is a 1999 Toyota Sienna. All the above data is an estimate becuase we are waiting for copies of all maintenance and repair records from Toyota - - but we have had multiple problems with this vehicle including screeching brakes, left veer when driving, bad transmission (replaced twice),smog check failure due to oxygen sensor and/or engine problems, clunking noises in engine, a shuddering of vehicle when driving or braking. The car has been at dealers for as long as 3 weeks; dealer admits not knowing what is wrong. Failed. It was Nov. 15, 2001 when this clunking noise issue occurred.
