One problem related to front seat recliner has been reported for the 1997 Acura CL. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driver's seat back completely collapsed during a rear end collision. Dealer/ manufacturer were notified. Consumer states that rear intial impact was from a pick up truck traveling approximately 45 mph, driver sustained neck and back injuries as well as bruised shins from impact with underside of dash.
