The contact owns a 1999 Acura 3. 0cl. The vehicle has goodride model sp06 tires (na), which were purchased at tire discounter. The contact noticed online the type of tire that the vehicle required. He went to the dealer and purchased the tires. When he arrived home, he noticed that the rating was different than the set he saw online. The contact called the dealer regarding the mix-up with the tires. The general manager stated that the grade was changed by the manufacturer, but the tires were the same. The contact feels that the tires are not the same because the vehicle performs differently and is concerned that a crash could occur. The tire size and dot number were unknown.
