My Acura Ilx 2020 has less than 40. 000 miles and has a mechanical problem that can not be fixed and it is dangerous for my self and others. In my opinion this is related to the stearing of the car and it is very dagerous knowing that you take your car to be repair and the dealer does not know how to fix it. It makes clicking noise when turning. It is a rattling type noise coming from what sounds like the front, right side of the car. I usually hear it over little bumps but as the day goes on the noise gets louder and the bumps do not have to be that big. I'm not a car technical person, but any type of noise coming from my car is concerning. Other people feedback "I've been to the dealership on three occasions to try to fix the problem. On two of the occasions I was put in an Ilx loaner with the exact same noise. " it does matter of what parts is gets change the car keeps making a rattling type noise coming from what sounds like the front. It is Acura Ilx 2021. The current mileage is 17,480. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? *driveshaft/suspension is broken after inspection. The vehicle started rolling backwards independently and was unable to stop. The contact depressed the parking brake to stop the vehicle. The contact stated an independent mechanic diagnosed the vehicle at the residence and informed her that the axle needed to be replaced. The contact called Acura of wappingers falls located at 1271 rt 9 s, wappingers falls, NY 12590, (845) 298-0400, and the dealer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 77,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Acura Ilx. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, the passenger's side axle fractured. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with needing the passenger's side axle to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Vehicle was in motion and stopped on the highway access rode. The transmission/power train and gears were stripped and unable to move the car. The right axle was stripped. The left back tire was a defect and tire split. I have to pay for a tire within 15k miles and the power train, gear, transmission and right axle went out less than 8 months of owning the car. American Honda CO and vangergriff Acura fail to replacement the car or buy me out the contract. The defects were known by american Honda CO. And vangergriff Honda in arlington, TX. There are been several incidents known and they still sold the car to me with acknowledging that this a problem with nurmerous vehicles they sold and are selling. The Honda motor CO. And ncds failed to send experienced personnel with mechanic backgrounds to address the matter and denied my claim.
Rear lights stopped working. I have break lights and turn signal but no rear lights. Front supension (or something up front)makes bouncing noise at 45k on the vehicle.
From second month of buying car, battery drained, Acura towing came and towed car to a nearby dealership and replace battery under warranty. Took car down to dealership that I purchased from about nose in front driver wheel hole and problems with the electrical components of the car. They stated "car is new drive it more" the electrical power stirring, the battery drains quickly(problem with fuse), the brakes system sets off sensors, abs light on, airbag light on (all though dealership stated they repaired that recall). Powertrain and transmission leaking, check hill start assist system, check vsa system, found recall for powertrain on internet that was from July 2019 that I have not been notified about. Complained about paint fading on hood over engine, complained about shocks and struts that don't need replacement but there is something loose that is making noise, I have updated home address with Acura but even so when I moved in 2017 I did a chang of address. They have replaced alternator, that I don't believe needed changing at that time, service tech at one dealership told me if I serviced my car would burn up but of course offered me to buy a new car. Acura service at several dealerships have never given me pictures or mentioned transmissions leak but Honda gave me all evidence. Metal sound transmission is permeated showing this has been a problem threw several inspections that are all documented with Acura. I have had to change spark plugs several time due to these electrical issues.
