My vehicle continues to accelerate when I press the gas pedal, and it sometimes makes clicking noises from underneath during acceleration. Occasionally, it veers to one side even when I keep the steering wheel straight. At times, it gives a warning and vibrates as if I'm merging into another lane. When I press the gas, the engine revs, but the car doesn't accelerate. Issues have been ongoing but dealership where I got the car from wants to charge me inspection fees per symptom.

1. Bypass contractor malfunction causing multiple lights to be on due to faulty intelligent inverter unit (iiu)/motor power invterter (mpi), causing error code p0ae1. Car is already repaired but still available for inspection if needed. 2. Car stalled on and off while getting onto freeway onramp 3. Yes, issue was reproduced by dealer and they recommended repairs 4. Vehicle was inspectd by vandergriff Acura in arlington, TX 5. There were no warning messages or indicators prior to the failure.

Hi - my driver's side door keeps unlocking and registering as if I am opening it as I am driving. I've attempted to have this fixed (stopped unlocking for about a year) but it has started back up within the last month. It's now come to my attention that upon searching for safety recalls on my car, that there was a recall back in 2012 (12v338000) on my car for what sounds exactly like the issue I've been having. I have an appointment to get driveshaft corrosion (20v-770) recall fixed on 11/6, but they do not have the other safety recall associated with my VIN number. Therefore, they are refusing to look at it without payment. I would hate to have to pay for a temporary fix again and I am extremely concerned that I cannot drive my vehicle without it unlocking and am really hoping this reaches the right audience. I am looking for assistance in having this resolved. Thank you!.

It is Acura Ilx 2021. The current mileage is 17,480. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? *driveshaft/suspension is broken after inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? *intense shaking coming from underneath the vehicle. Worn out u-joints, couplers or carrier bearings can cause the driveshaft to vibrate and make noise when passing over bumps and potholes. If not fixed, it can lead to further damage to other drivetrain components. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? * not sure for 2021 model. However, there is a recall history for model 2016-2019 Acura Ilx. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? * the vehicle was inspected and waiting for remedy. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? * no there is no sign of warning. Due to extreme noise, the vehicle was inspected.

I, jennifer, entered into a car agreement with carwise which assisted me with searching for cars that best suited my family and I. May of 2022 we finally found the car that we thought was a great fit for the family. A representative from carwise showed up at my home with the Acura Ilx a-spec along with the proper documents to be signed so I could be ready to take the vehicle. I jennifer along with the carwise representative stood behind the vehicle to go through each document that needed to be signed, we were going through it and along that process, I was never informed the price of the vehicle was no longer the price that I was told initially before the car was brought. I was told the vehicle was around $32,000, I was told the car was new and had no issues, and I was told I didn’t have to put in a down payment which at first was true, no payment was given. Upon further research and investigation, I later found out that the down payment was added as an extra. When ready to complete the contract, the representative that was supposed to go through the contract thoroughly with me did not do so which resulted in me signing away to what turned out to be bait and switch. I contacted the lender to see if the car was repossessed and they confirmed they hired mc trac towing company to pick up my vehicle. I had spoken to them, and they stated the car was repossessed at my home, which was inaccurate information. I have been suffering mentally due to so many issues arising with the lenders, the car dealerships, and everyone involved. I’ve been sent back and forth, and no issue seems to be resolved and the Acura is my only form of transportation. I am seeking to have my vehicle returned in the perfect state that it was, along with all payments that were made since its first purchase, along with all hardships and extra payments that were made through all processes.

I am experiencing what I believe to be unauthorized remote access/control of my 2022 Acura Ilx. I suspect the extra set of keys provided by the dealership was given to unauthorized parties without my consent. The vehicle has exhibited sudden and unexplained changes in acceleration, braking, steering, and electronic functions while I am driving, as though being controlled externally. This creates a severe safety risk to me, passengers, and others on the road. I have also experienced tampering with electronic systems, tracking, and possible interference with the onboard computer. This has been ongoing for an extended period and may involve multiple parties, including a former employer and individuals tied to them. The risk of losing control of the vehicle is constant, and I believe this is a safety defect that requires immediate investigation.

A)I stopped at the mailbox. I stopped at the top. Placed my car in park. Turned my car off. The car started rolling backwards. The car was in park and turned off. B)I do not know what failed or what happened. Yes, the my vehicle is available for inspection. I incurred road rash and injuries related to this incident. I’m in pain. C)this situation could have gone terribly wrong there were cars around and I live in a residential community so kids could have been out playing and could have gotten hurt. D)it is going today. E)it is going today. No there was no warning signs or anything that alerted me that my vehicle was in the state of distress. It just rolled back.

When you turn the car off it turns back on. You think the car is turned off, however the car turns back on without cause or reason. This is a risk to the public we don’t what can happen if a vehicle just turns on without cause or reason if it has been turned off properly.

The car jerked while braking and then gave the code p1440. The ima light, check engine light, and brake light all came on. The car feels like it is dragging and does not have the same power. The battery is no longer charging nor is it indicating the battery is being used. It continues the have a jerk at rhe end of braking. It seems there is an extension warranty for certain vins of this same year and make but mine is not included even though it has having the same problem.

My passenger and I were stopped in a gas line, and had just moved my car from park to drive. I tapped on my gas pedal to inch the car forward as the car in front of me was now about 3 car lengths ahead of me. As I lifted my foot off the pedal and the car began to roll, it picked up speed and started to accelerate, despite my foot being off the gas pedal. Upon attempting to brake multiple times, the brakes would not engage.   the car was launched forward approximately one (1) car length. The car started to tick and the auto brakes kicked in. Only then did my brakes reengage. During this time, none of the warning lights came on aside from my empty fuel light; however it came on since I only had 30 miles of range left. Had the car not detected another car in front of me, I fear worse could have happened. I took my car to the Acura service center. Upon inspection of the car, Acura’s service center did not find any issues with the computer system or the car. They also could not replicate the issue, and they sent me home with the car. This is not the first time that this has happened.   approximately a year prior this incident, I was rolling to a stop when the brakes would not engage. After a few attempts, the brakes did reengage. Auto brakes did not kick in.   during this incident, I did not take the car to the shop, assuming that this was human error. However, after the car launched about 10 feet forward on its own, I fear that this will happen again.   since the car does not detect people, I worry that this will occur again and could potentially cause a more fatal outcome.   not only do I fear for my safety, but I fear for the safety of pedestrians and other drivers around me, as the unpredictability in this problem leaves me feeling uncomfortable to drive the car.  .

My sunroof shattered while I was driving on the highway.

This is a white car with no after-dealer modifications. The paint is peeling from around the windshield and rear window.

Vehicle suddenly decelerated without warning. Transmission would not shift to a higher gear causing the vehicle rev. Warning lights on the dashboard started going off at the same time. Lanes departure and adaptive cruise control warning went off. Had to have vehicle towed to dealership. Lucilky this happened on a rural backroad and not on the freeway or busy road as someone could have rear-ended the vehicle. Dealership was given video of incident and couldn't replicate the issue and we were told that the car did not store any of the error codes for the warning lights that came on the dash. The evening before the brake lights would not turn off when when the vehicle was turned off. Dealership said it was an adjustment that needed to be made to the switch on the brake pedal. Car is unsafe to drive as if this were to happen again on a busy highway or road without notice the persons behind would not be expecting the vehicle to suddenly drastically drop speed and not be able to accelerate.

It won’t let me stay in the lane while I driving.

I noticed within the first couple of weeks a difference in driving vehicle . . When I first purchased the vehicle I was given a NHTSA printout for any passed reports if therebwas any and there was nothing disclosed in the report . After experiencing issues with the vehicle . I ran another recall report and was able to see the 38 plus recalls that have been discovered since. I have scheduled a service appointment at the dealership tomorrow . I noticed very soon after purchasing vehicle and as of the last couple days . . I did take it to a couple of mechanic shops covered the car max warranty.

My 2017 Acura Ilx makes a loud clunk, and shifts extremely hard when coming or coasting to a stop. 1-2 gear seems to be the only time this issue arises. This issues creates startling reaction from the driver due to the loud clunk and force of the shift in gears, as well as loss of confidence in the vehicles ability to safely come stop without issues. Reproducing the issue is difficult because the issue usually occurs in traffic in 1-2 gears and test driving it around the block is not sufficient enough to experience hard shift/clunk. I was told it may be the rear differential bushing. Once they checked that, they were able to rule out the possible bushing issue. There are no codes being shown, and no other issues present before or clunk/jamming of the gears. This issue began 4-5 months after purchasing the vehicle from a Honda/Acura dealer washington in Dec 2020.

The car has an open recall. Maus Acura in tampa said if it doesn't need repaired at the time they will close the recall without repairs! they are refusing to give me loaner and said they are not fixing it.

The vehicle accelerated by itself as I parked in a parking space. I steped on the brake but the vehicle just surged forward. Never happened before, but just that day morning as I parked in front of my working place, some malfunctions either in computer or overall vehicle system occurred that day.

My car has a intermitting shut off problem that just randomly happens as I am driving I have taken my car to the local temecula Acura dealership which I experienced horrible service after they had my car 2 weeks they could not diagnose the problem they could only suggest a major tune up and changing sparkplugs cost over $500 which as they told me may not fix my problem. I worte Acura corporate they refuse to do anything I simple want to report this issue my car is only 3 years old and I should not be having this issues which is very unsafe. The car just cuts out and you never know when it will happen. I will never purchase another Acura they could not fix my problem which is there product. I tried to file with better business bureau and I could not because of the year of the car.

From second month of buying car, battery drained, Acura towing came and towed car to a nearby dealership and replace battery under warranty. Took car down to dealership that I purchased from about nose in front driver wheel hole and problems with the electrical components of the car. They stated "car is new drive it more" the electrical power stirring, the battery drains quickly(problem with fuse), the brakes system sets off sensors, abs light on, airbag light on (all though dealership stated they repaired that recall). Powertrain and transmission leaking, check hill start assist system, check vsa system, found recall for powertrain on internet that was from July 2019 that I have not been notified about. Complained about paint fading on hood over engine, complained about shocks and struts that don't need replacement but there is something loose that is making noise, I have updated home address with Acura but even so when I moved in 2017 I did a chang of address. They have replaced alternator, that I don't believe needed changing at that time, service tech at one dealership told me if I serviced my car would burn up but of course offered me to buy a new car. Acura service at several dealerships have never given me pictures or mentioned transmissions leak but Honda gave me all evidence. Metal sound transmission is permeated showing this has been a problem threw several inspections that are all documented with Acura. I have had to change spark plugs several time due to these electrical issues.
