Fuel Pump Problems of Acura ILX

The contact owns a 2019 Acura Ilx. The contact received a notification of NHTSA campaign number: 23v858000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that occasionally her vehicle will not start and that occasionally upon putting the vehicle into drive the vehicle will often stall . The power steering and stability lights remain illuminated when the failure occurs. The vehicle has needed to be towed on three seperate occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was confirmed that the open recall was the cause of failure, however the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired.
