Cruise Control problems of the 1996 Acura Integra

Two problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 1996 Acura Integra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 10/30/1999

I had the cruise control on, I was going about 65 miles per hour, I pushed on the gas pedal to pass a car, the pedal stuck all the way down, I hit the brakes but the car keep going faster, I had to hit the gas pedal several times to get it to release. The same thing hppended without the curise control on.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 09/17/1998

Incident also happened again in June 1999 at approx. 35-40 mph. Car accelerates on its own, as if cruise control is engaged when in actuality it is rarely used. (car accelerates when already in forward motion, not when standing still. ) this car has automatic transmission.
