A loud banging knocking noise was coming from the front. Consumer pulled over, and then vehicle stalled. Consumer was unable to restart vehicle, and had it towed to the dealer. Mechanic determined that the second gear drive shaft sheared off while shifting, and the transmission needed to be replaced.
