general problems of the 2002 Acura MDX

The contact owns a 2002 Acura Mdx. The contact stated that while driving at 10 mph, the vehicle stalled while driving on an incline with the service and check warning light illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart. The contact heard a grinding noise when the contact started the vehicle and attempted to shift gears. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The mechanic suggested that the failure could be attributed to a water pump failure.
