Car experienced unintended acceleration in a shopping center parking lot. 4th time this has occurred (very intermittent). Car was stopped while in drive waiting for traffic in front of me when the engine starting revving. . . Had to keep my foot down on the brake to avoid hitting the fellow in front of me. Forced the gear shift back into neutral then revving subsided. Took car to dealership who thought problem might be related to intermittent disruption between electronic control master and power control master modules. . Dealer said they "relearned" the connection between the two modules.

Fuel Pump problem #2

The contact owns a 2011 Acura Mdx. The contact stated that while driving 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that the fuel pump was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 38,000.
