Suspension Noise Problems of Acura MDX

Temporarily loss control of my vehicle when I was exiting the parkway and needed to steer around to avoid a stop car my car just took a big rock in motion from side to side. The steering is very unresponsive, vehicle hesitates when accelerating rapidly and when turning they is no stability. Also my breaking doesn't react the way it should it's very delayed. All of the things that the dynamic mode is supposed to enhance appears not to be functioning. I went to the dealer several times they said they couldn't find anything but yet the problem continues. They also said they reset and relearned some parts of the car in an attempt to rectify the issue I was experiencing. The problem still exists. Many times when I come to a stop on a hill the car roll backwards. I was given the same model on one of my visits to the dealership as a loaner. And it ran like a totally different car the way the car should run it was the same year same model. Everything was more responsive the steering the breaking the suspension even when I started the car the start up sound was much more aggressive. Please help!.

I own two Acura Mdxs. 2009 sport and 2011 advance. Both these vehicles active damper systems have failed multiple times. Acura or american Honda keeps replacing these failed parts with the same failed part # 51606-stx-a59. These parts are failing prematurely. We should not be replacing these parts at 50,000 miles. This is a suspension part and a real safety concern. I have replaced these ads struts now 5 times on my 2009. 3 fronts and 2 rears. I recently had 2 struts replaced on my 2011 Mdx advance. I take the time now to point out this major glaring issue so the NHTSA can look into this matter further. Please look at Mdxer's and Acurazine complaints on this issue. Every person who owns these higher priced models is having these same issues. Many are driving around with this issue not knowing. I did for 20,000 miles on my 2009 Mdx not knowing why my vehicle was making clunking noises and had a suspension like a truck. Please look into this issue. Acura sometimes covers these failed parts 100%, some 50%, but most they let the customer pay 100%. The glaring fact is that these ads struts seem to fail just outside the vehicles warranty. Acura knows this is an issue, they extended the warranty on these longer because of this issue. I feel strongly that this is a major issue and that all ads struts should be covered by american Honda 100%. I urge you to look into this issue. I have replaced 7 ads struts ,so far, on both my Mdxs which I still both own. Please I urge you to look into this major issue.

The front driver side suspension is making a clunking sound when driving over a speedbump or potholes or when turning. The vehicle sways- pitching and rolling.

Mdx with 8000 miles on it makes a lout thump noise coming front the rear suspension. Had dealer check but said there is nothing wrong and everything appears correct. Issue has gotten louder. After looking online for similar issues this appears to be common on all Mdx cars from 2014 on and appears to be a design flaw. Not sure how this relates to the safety of the vehicle with regards to the suspension potentially collapsing etc.

Tl-the contact owns a 2001 Acura Mdx. The contact stated that while driving at a low speed, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the front driver's side of the vehicle. Upon further inspection, the contact noticed that the front coil had fractured. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic who diagnosed that the front driver's side coil and strut needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact was aware of NHTSA campaign number: 05v385000 (suspension) but the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was 210,000. Oo.

Sports suspension in vehicle does not work overtime. I believe they are defective, every bump I go over, tiny or big it makes a sound from the front suspension like something is loose. Dealership told me its 2300 to replace both sides. Reason I believe they are defective or not of high quality, heard and read many people with Mdx sports suspension getting them replaced once to several times in a short period of time.

I bought 2014 Acura Mdx brand new and after 2000 mile a noise came out from engine I went dealer they ordered the part and fixed and the same problem happened after 5000 miles. I hqve lots of headaches since I bought this car. The suspensions are very bad even when I bought it from the dealer as a first day. And now I have all lights on such as battery, brake, hill stability problem, steering wheel problem, engine emission stability broblem writing, shawd all wheel drive problem. Whenever I go to dealer they reset the signs and say its ok now. They charge me but after a while again happens and this time saying different problem. . Really has too much problem. Suspensions and brakea worst. Now iam afraid to drive this car with my little baby and family. 100% I believe car stops in middle of the way. . Its very dangerous. . Please inform avura because they aren't careening and especially every new Mdx drivers have problems with this brand new expensive cars. Thank you very much for your time and understanding us.
