1 Brake Disc Rotor problem of the 2022 Acura RDX

The contact owns a 2022 Acura Rdx. The contact stated while driving at various speeds on the highway, there was an abnormal screeching sound coming from the rear end of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact parked and inspected the vehicle and became aware that the rear passenger’s side rotor was scratched. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that there was no cause for the issue found. However, the contact was made aware that the brake pads on the rear passenger’s side were metal to metal. The contact was informed that the vehicle was out of warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.
