Oil shot out the car while driving at high speed on the freeway, causing all the oil to shoot out, and the entire function of the car to stop working. The engine essentially died, causing the brake, the gas, and steering to lock and not work. Car went from 65 miles a hr to 5 milesw, very scary summary on certain passenger vehicles, prolonged high under-hood temperatures may cause the power steering hose to deteriorate prematurely causing the hose to crack and leak power steering fluid. Mcconnell Honda alabama did not troubleshoot malfunction, removed and replac ed a good alternator, which does not solve the battery circuit charging malfunction and billed customer $1320 initially then $920 after customer expressed disappointment with bad repair that will prove faulty. Mcconnell Honda alabama latter attempts to re-title and sell owner's vehicle to auction despite civil small claims complaint filed on 25 March 2020 in montgomery county court, ala. Neither dealership referenced or addressed the open recall safety status.

Odometer was tampered which I believe is fraud in the us.

Car had electrical malfuction the odometer keeped having equal numbers alot of the time. Also accelation keeped changing on its own. As I was driving and also on the highway going towards oregon. In July of 2016.

Glove box material is melting and sagging. Ithe glove box material has also "orange peeled". When googled, this is a widespread and common problem with Acura's between 2005-2007. A defective material was used on the glove box.

The srs sensor jus pop on the abs sensor pop on also the check engine light pops I don't know what to do and also I heard ticking and tapping and the engine started jumping whether I'm going slow or fast I really need some serious help why is because I can possibly be in great danger do to the sensors that are going out in my vehicle .

My door locks stopped working again and I'm unsure whether it's the switch or the actuator. Honda's and Acura's are synonymous with malfunctioning actuators. For the last 7 years that I have owned this car, I have had to take it in to fix door locks and windows numerous times. My door locks stopped working, my windows stopped working every single year that I have owner this car. I purchased extended warranty so they could fix my door locks and windows every year. It's ridiculous the prices they charge for this car and they can't make it last more than 1 year. The Acura dealership showed me, that all the parts are made of plastic and they wear. As long as it's under extended warranty, I have to keep paying a deductible and bringing it in for them to fix.

While I'm driving from work I head a squeak noise. So I turn the ac off the noise stop but still hear time to time. I got home ok then I told my husband the problem, he took the car out for a test. As soon as back out the drive he can hear some thing fell off then the power steering stop working. He has to muscle the steering back to the drive. He open the hood and found out the harmonic balancer fell off. Lucky for me that did not happen to me while I'm on the free way. Oh my work only ten miles from my house.

My husband drove onto a sloped driveway (uphill) and left the car running, got out and rang the doorbell to our daughter's house to see if anyone was home. They answered the door and he came back to the car and motioned for me to get out of car and come into house. He remembered he had left the car running, so as I got out of the front passenger seat, he reached in and turned the ignition off. I turned toward the back of car to get something out of the back seat. The front passenger door was still open all the way. The car started rolling backward down the driveway, I tried to run but the door hit me knocked me face down on the asphalt of the street, and the bottom of the open front door scraped over me, abrading my heel, back, and lacerating my head. When my face hit the asphalt, my two upper front teeth ground into the asphalt, both hands trying to break my fall, and both knees crashing on the street surface. I suffered fractures of both upper incisors, a 1 inch laceration to back of scalp, sprained r thumb, abrasions of both hands and both knees. I proceeded to have a rather significant asthma attack for several hours afterward and I thought I had aspirated some of the tooth fragments that broke off. I spent 3 hours in er getting chest and ankle xrays and getting the laceration stapled. There was no warning signal and no clue that turning the engine off would let the car roll when it had stayed stable when engine was running. The car continued backward across the street after rolling over me and ended up on the lawn of the neighbor across the street. It seems there should be a warning signal or safety mechanism to prevent the car from being turned off if it is not in the proper gear or if has somehow popped out of park.

Digital dash pulls too much voltage so it shorts out intermittantly and works properly when restarted. No codes consistent but the ones pulled were all level one on the Honda ecm hierarchy low oil pressure or similar warning then black dash.

Headlights have previously flickered and temporarily turned off, dealer has claimed our vehicle was the only one impacted, low beams have now comlpletely failed creating a safety hazard.
