The car died on the freeway, tow truck towed contacted mechanic next day and they came and diagnosed the car and needed a crank shaft sensor and change was complete. Car is still showing the same issues stalls approximately 30 to 40 mins of idle I had mechanic pull live data stream from scanner upon monitoring short term fuel trim bank 1 still shows that the fuel pump is seizing one warm, causing the car to stall, which is a huge safety issue I have a 5 month old and 8 year old in the car when she stalled on the freeway. Pump is seizing when it’s hot.
No incidents so far. However, it is causing a lot of anxiety knowing that the car could potentially stall or crash since I received the email notice on 12/18/2023. What is a reasonable wait time?.
As I was pulling into a parking space in a shopping plaza, the vehicle suddenly accelerated causing me to hit a parked vehicle about 10 ft to my left. Updated 3/17/2015.
