Tire Valve problem #1

The contact owns a 2006 Acura Tl. After the vehicle was purchased, the tire pressure began to fail. The warning light illuminated and the vehicle was returned to the dealer a few days later. The dealer checked the tire pressure and added more air to the tires. The contact went home only to return to the dealer with the same failure. The dealer changed the valve stem, but that did not correct the failure. After several attempts to repair the vehicle, the dealer could not locate the cause of the failure. The failure mileage was 16 and current mileage was 20,000. Updated 4/25/08.

Tire problem #2

Tread has separated from tire carcass on one tire, imminent on other three tires according to dealer. Suspect defective adhesive or application during manufacture of the tire.
