Assist problems of the 2015 Acura TLX

The emergency brake system continues to come on and read all the type of stuff on the screen, as well as the lkas keeps coming on the screen showing problems and when it does, the transmission or engines stalls a little and slows up and speed down on its on.

Oil pump seal leaking, was leaking prior to rod bearing recall repair, Acura didn't recommend nor replace during recall, engine is smoking, also at night, lane keep assist repeatly steers towards passing vehicle headlights almost causing head-on collision, extremely scary, this is ridiculous and I'm stuck with vehicle being I'm upside down on loan, absolutely a nightmare!!!! contacted dealership that completed recall and was given run around so I called Acura and they spoke with dealer, dealer waived diagnostic fee, but are charging for parts n services which I can't afford. And, I no longer trust them under my hood so unsure of what to do!!! this is my hard earned money at work!!!.

The 2015 1st generation Acura Tlx is affected by a defective torque sensor inside the steering gearbox that malfunctions sending error codes displaying as lkas, esp, epb, acc, driver mitigation control, etc. These driver assisted technologies are dangerous when faulty. A fault code triggered in the driver assist system tech causes the vehicle to lose power steering under power and at speed causing an unsafe operation of the vehicle that can result in death. Honda motor corp is aware of this because they extend the warrantee for this part to be replaced. Honda issued a superseding memo to cover the cost of repairs between 80-100 percent of the repair. The original tb (tech bulletin) 15-056 was for 2013-14 Honda accord, however the 2015 Acura Tlx shares the design of that vehicle and supplied the parts for the first generation Acura Tlx. The revision classifies the gearbox as no longer a controlled part, a replacement must be ordered when hard codes are repeating 53-02, 53-02. I have spoken to Honda and they are denying this issue is a recallable issue. It has to be recalled and if research is conducted I am sure that it will be seen to have caused collisions on the roadway, I have had several near miss incidents and my vehicle has very low miles to be affected by an issue like this and the car has never been hit.

The lane keeping assist problem light message comes up on my dashboard. The dealership wants $1600 to repair this problem but I don’t understand why it should have failed in the first place. The camera system should last for 10 plus years. In addition, this message can’t be cleared and it is a hazard as I can’t see any other safety messages that may come up.

The following warning messages all poped-up at the same time while driving the vehicle on a city street: brake system problem; brake hold system problem; anti-lock brake system problem; vihicle stability assist problem; hill start assist problem; lane keeping assist problem; power steering system problem; hill start assist problem; forward collission warning problem; lane departure assist problem; the message keep rotating while driving the vehicle and the associated dashboard light remains on. I suspect this might be related to Acura service bulletin 15-050, but I have not confirmed this yet.
