Purchased a brand new vehicle in September'15 and since day one I have been experiencing vibrations during highway commute. The car has been serviced 5 times so far the vibration has actually been made far worse then what they used to be. The seats, the seat buckle, even my child car seat vibrates/shakes when driving. The vibration can be felt all over the body when driving. The vibration is soo bad now, that the car is unsafe to drive on a highway.
Yes, you guys are on point! I had my 2015 Tlx v4 advanced pack. And every single complaint I read on here I have! this is very nerve wrecking! I took in my Acura two weeks ago to sherman oaks center Acura, where I originally purchased the vahicle and explained everything that I was experiencing; e. I. Jerks, sudden revs, delayed upshift/downshift. The repair center personnel advised me that the vehicle just needed a "simple software update" and that not to be alarmed because Acura will have future updates. So when I went to pick up my car I noticed that the car felt as though I was driving my girlfriend's 10 year old corolla. The car is a f*** piece of s*** I tell you! it lags more and he vibrates too much! this is a safety hazard!.
Transmission is very jerky at low speeds when cold and hits a hard shift between 2nd to 3rd gear. All other gear changes are unnoticeable however 2nd going to 3rd always shifts hard. Read online and other owners are having the same issue. Despite the fact that certain cars are being recalled for transmission issues, all Tlxs should be checked.
I recently purchased a 105 Acura Tlx technology package from cerritos Acura, California. I just faint out yesterday that there are no safety child latches to secure my niece's carseat. According to your website, installation of safety latches for use on child car seat are standards on vehicles manufactured after September, 2002. Do you know how I can get this resolved? thank you.
I leased a 2015 Acura Tlx v6 9-speed automatic transmission on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Today I discovered that there is a recall for this car (based on the VIN) and that in December 2014 Honda motor company issued a stop sale order on this model. How was the dealership allowed to lease this car to me if a stop sale order was issued by the manufacturer? are they required by law to disclose any recall notices before selling or leasing a car? I would also like to complain about the reflection of the air vent grill in the side view mirrors. It is very distracting. I have owned six Acuras since 1988, been a loyal customer of this particular dealership (2 purchases and 2 leases) since 2000 and am beyond disappointed with this vehicle. I feel that I've been completely conned and taken in by an extremely slick and false sales pitch. I've had such great experiences with Acuras that it never occurred to me to doubt their word. To now discover that there is something technically wrong with the vehicle that may impact my safety and the safety of others, that the dealership should have been aware of this defect and recall notice, and did not inform me of such is reprehensible.
I was accelerating from 40 mph to 50 mph when the car suddenly stopped accelerating, beeped, and started flashing all system errors in orange on the dash display. The car would not go above 50 mph, as if the gas was being choked off at that point. Car was towed to dealer. They had the car for a week before it was "fixed". The exact same error just occurred for a second time while I was accelerating and merging into a busy highway lane. Car is again at the dealer for almost a week and counting. While it hasn't caused an accident yet, this is extremely dangerous. I was nearly rear-ended when my car stopped accelerating and started decelerating on a busy highway. In between these occurrences, I have had other random errors, such as the lane departure warning system activating while driving straight down the center of a lane. When this occurs, the steering wheel is "tugged" towards the direction it thinks it needs you to go. Very dangerous when the car is trying to tug you out of your lane into another. The random errors that occur are all with the same systems that flash error warnings all over the dash on the two occasions that the car has stopped functioning properly. Ldw, acc, braking system, vsc. . . All important safety systems!.
I leased this vehicle in September of 2014 and immediately had concerns with the transmission. The shifts between gears were extremely rough and choppy. When the vehicle was at a stop, I would press on the gas to move into traffic, but the vehicle would not respond; instead, the rpms would rev all the way up to 4-5 and after a couple seconds, I would be lurched into oncoming traffic. I have almost gotten into two significant accidents due to this issue. I have now had to change my driving completely to allow for more time in an intersection to avoid being seriously hurt or killed. The dealership and Honda motor vehicles both refuse to be responsible for this issue and despite my vehicle being in for repairs four times now, claim they are "unable to duplicate the issue. " rather than taking responsibility for this issue, they accuse me of driving "aggressively. " please do not buy or lease this vehicle. It is a major safety issue that the company will not/has not resolved.
Reflection rear view mirrors ac vent. Also abnormal shifts low speed.
