Multiple dash lights including "brake system failure, collision mitigation system problem, adaptive cruise control problem, road departure mitigation system problem, etc. " rpms effected, car does not shift into third gear. Safety of myself and others were at risk because the vehicle stalled then would not go over 20mph. Had this been a busy highway, lack of warning could cause a major collision. The vehicle was recently inspected and passed by criswell Honda, gaithersburg and purchased by me today. No dash lights were displayed. I drove less than 100 miles before the issue occurred. The vehicle is currently being towed back to criswell Honda for diagnostics and repair (or I was told that is what they will be doing).

On a slightly snowing evening driving on the highway, a warning was displayed indicating "some driver assist systems cannot operate, radar obstructed" and the green icon turned orange. Traveling about 45 mph, I slowed down to get over and the car drastically slowed down without me pressing the brake. After about 10 more minutes of driving the icon turned green again. This has happened on more than one occasion creating a serious safety risk, typically during inclement weather.
Transmission fails mid drive on freeway. Multiple vehicles had to avoid the possibility of horrific collision. Vehicle has lost engine power and will not exceed 60mph. I have. Check in with a facebook Acura group and more the. 2,000 members had the same issue. All Acuras from 2016 to 2023 had failed transmissions at 10k miles to 45k miles.

On may 11, 2024, while driving my 2017 Acura Tlx on a local city street, multiple dashboard lights suddenly came on. Since that time these lights began to come back on more frequent and often will go into a limp mode. I have had the vehicle inspected at my local Acura dealership only to be told that the vehicles rear paws actuators and control unit need to be replaced at a cost of around $8,000. They also informed me that a recall for this issue was only for the 2015 Tlx and rlx models but there could be a recall for my model year at some future date. I find this to be unacceptable as I have found out there are multiple instances of this same issue happening with many other Acura owners.

I was traveling on the highway (on a very rainy day), when my car's green signal lights and orange engine light began blinking. Immediately, an orange warning sign on the dash read, "some driver assist systems cannot operate, radar obstructed". A few seconds after that occurred, I accelerated to pass a vehicle & as soon as I switched lanes to get over, my car went from speeds of about 85 mph, abruptly down to 15-20 mph. My safety was immediately put at risk as the driver I passed began tailgating me as if my actions were intentional. I attempted repeatedly to speed up, but my car just wouldn't go any faster. Once, I proceeded to get in the right line, I was almost hit by a group of tractor trailers. I called my spouse in a panic, who advised me to get off at the next exit. I followed his advice, pulled over, turned off my car & started it again. The lights turned off & proceeded to get back on the highway. About 3 minutes later, the orange light flashed the same message, "some driver assists. . . . " I immediately called leith Acura & tried explaining what was occurring. Once hanging up with leith, the dash continued to display "call ended" with leith's number flashing every few seconds. The radio also turned off with a "no audio connection for fm radio". Too afraid to accelerate, I drove minimal speed all the way to va. Also afraid to drive back in the same condition, I contacted crown Acura, who set an appointment for June 23, cancelling leith. Service advisor michael informed me that the technicians were unable to duplicate what occurred and placed me in a rental vehicle until my car was assessed and diagnosed. The next day I was informed my vehicle was ready and told the technology was reset. Before & after this, my phone calls are stuck in a limbo state where it will ring through bluetooth, the number will display, but there is no way to pick up the call via phone or car display. "brake" warning also blinks when there are no objects in front of me. *I have videos*.
For some time now, before I was aware of this service, my car warning lights indicate that there is an issue with my forward collision, my lane departure, and the lane keeping assistance. It further indiscretion to clean my front windshield. I do so, but the warning still remains. Then some time will pass and the warning goes off. This warning happens sporadically, even giving impression of some hesitation while accelerating, and other times with drag when breaking. I made mention ofv this concern once to my dealership, but they said because it was now out of warranty, the check for the problem world cost $200. But now after reading of similar issues with other cars on this site, I will pursue a check on it.

While driving on a 2 lane road that curved to the right, the collision mitigation braking system (cmbs) activated for no apparent reason. The brakes engaged hard for a short period of time. Fortunately there was no vehicle behind me that could have rear ended me. I would say this is a serious safety issue under the right conditions .
As I was driving on major road the car shift from drive to neutral with all these problems flashing at me with not any warning signs. I was scared and I am scared to drive my car.
The following warning messages all poped-up at the same time while driving the vehicle on a city street: brake system problem; brake hold system problem; anti-lock brake system problem; vihicle stability assist problem; hill start assist problem; lane keeping assist problem; power steering system problem; hill start assist problem; forward collission warning problem; lane departure assist problem; the message keep rotating while driving the vehicle and the associated dashboard light remains on. I suspect this might be related to Acura service bulletin 15-050, but I have not confirmed this yet.
