| Transmission Solenoid problems | |
| Transmission Fluid Leaking problems |
I have a 2007 Acura Tsx automatic and the transmission makes a clicking noise whenever you come to a complete stop and then start to move again. Acura has stated that all of their transmissions make this clicking noise all the time, however it is not normal for automatic transmissions to do this and no other car I have ever owned makes this noise. I've also done my research and all Acura Tsx automatic owners from the 04-08 model years experience this clicking problem. The problem seems to be a bad shift lock solenoid and bushing. Some owners have had Acura fix the problem only for it to come back in 10k - 20k miles. There should be an investigation into a recall for this. I am sure it could lead to more issues with the car further on.
The car had not given me any warning or nothing. Driving fine down the highway one day going about 45 mph, I go to make a turn and its hard as hell. My car starts sounding all crazy and im struggling to turn the wheel. I pull over and all my power steering fluid is gone, leaked out! now I have read report after report of this happening. Over and over for this same year and type of car. Why is there no recall?????!!!!! the boot just busted. And its gonna cost me way more than I can afford to replace the rack and pinion!.
