My car model is one of many Honda vehicles recalled in 2019. The car warns me about the airbag and seatbelt malfunctions each time I start the vehicle. I reported to Acura but no answer to my concerns and I'm very frustrated driving my car knowing the airbag may not protect me during accidents.
The air bag system appears on the scream of the car and its beaping all the time announcing the air bag sistem its bad.
Tl- takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Acura Tsx. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v346000 (air bags) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair. The interim notice did not give a specific date for when the part would become available so the contact was unable to determine when the vehicle would be repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and could not provide an estimated date for when the contacts vehicle would receive the recall repair. The contact was not experiencing a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Dyd.
The recall was issued may 2016. Passengers not allowed in front seat. Remedy still not available. It is September, 14, 2016. I have children and need the seating. My children are catching the bus, or I am borrowing vehicles. It is absolutely imperative we receive a loaner car.
I called to set up an appointment for the airbags to be replaced and they said they did not have the parts and would order them and call me back. They never received the new airbags and did not call me. I have called again and will call again this week.

Takata recall - dealership notified on July 20th, 2016 and as of September 23, my replacement part has not arrived. (cerritos Acura, CA). I called customer relations and they will forward loaner car request to case manager to possibly supply a loaner car. My complaint to your agency is that I have not had full use of my car for over 2 months now, and there is no expected date in sight. I have elderly parents that I drive them and two toddler children I drive to school. I bought a 4-door sedan to drive my family and am being denied that. Please put more pressure, demands, fines to Acura to solve the problem. Thank you!!!.
Takata recall - I recieved notification on July 17th, 2016 about a recall for my 2010 Acura Tsx. I immediately called the dealer for an appointment, I was put on a waiting list for parts and was told it would take 90-120 days for parts. I then requested a different vehicle to drive which was denied. I carpool in my car every day, yet the Acura recall notice instructs me not to use the passenger seat. This is not practical and parts should be made available sooner or a different car provided.

Takata airbag recall - still waiting over 1 year for replacement bags to be installed. I live in the south, where the hazard seems to be more prevalent because of the warmer temperatures.
