Recall never fixed.

This vehicle was taken in for a recall for a corrosive ecm. 1 hour prior to taking this vehicle in my assigned service writer gave me a call, your vehicle is ready for pick up. I was advised due to their visual inspection of the ecm( electronic control module)(electrical computer) not having corrosion, they will not change the unit but they have decided to replace the cover on the unit. I've filed a concerning complaint to Acura headquarters due to my knowledge of cars to have it on file what was told to me before receiving the vehicle. Due to my knowledge a faulty ecm can trigger numerous faults within the vehicles performance. Prior to bringing the vehicle to the dealership, I've been experiencing heavy misfires, poor radio connection, no interior lights and triggered headlights. I've replaced the necessary mechanics that would normal be the cause of these issues and the problem was still existing. The last option was the ecm,which fueled my search of a recall on these models for a faulty ecm. A few weeks later I've contacted another dealership in hopes they would take care of the problem, the representative was polite and reassured me the recall was suppose to be replaced with a new unit under manufacturer policy. However this could not be done because the previous dealer has marked the vehicle as a completed task. So I filed another complaint and have not received any further notice regarding my concern. A few weeks later I had the vehicle diagnosed and realized the ecm was never replaced nor removed out of the vehicle for inspection. Pictures and video where taken of this unit,as you can see the build up of dirt and dust from its original installment back in 2004. Later reading the review of that specific dealership, I've learned their has been numerous complaints regarding poor service at that locations service department.

My headlights always flicker and turn off everytime I drive within 5 minutes of driving. It gets really bad when I drive in cold/wet weather and I’ve replaced the bulbs a good 5 times. Something is wrong with my suspension I think? my vsc and warning light always automatically come and stay on and my car makes a noise everytime I turn/reverse. My car continues to start smoking when I drive, especifically on hot days and multiple mechanics have said I have a severe oil leak/power steering leak and I’ve gone to 3 within the last 6 months. So I’m not sure what to do and I seen the recalls on all of the things I listed above for my model of car just not specifically for my VIN number. Please help.

When driving randomly sign shows up for "check engine oil". Sign's shows up with pressing brake, making turns, going over speed-bumps. Sign will disappear but will come on, after anyone of the above has occurred. This happens on local roads, highways, inner city, and speed bumps.

The blue tooth has always been sounding staticky and I realized that under the steering wheel water falls threw when it's raining and accumulate or wets my feet while driving the car if it's raining.

I was driving north bound hwy 6 towards college station texas from houston, and the vehicle started to not engage while shifting and then the vehicle gave no power to the wheels ,but all soleniods seem to be in working order. After having the vehicle towed from hempstead where it was disabled ,and after doing some research there seems to be an issue with the same generation of Honda's with the same automatic transmission, but there is not a recall for their Acura counterparts. The recall id# 11v395000.

I bought a brand new 2014 Acura Tsx may 27 2014 from concord Acura dealership. Since 2014-2019 my car has been stalling to start. I've brought it in multiple times for the same issue, they would send me home and said nothing was wrong with my car. On Jan 2017, after bringing my car in for the 8th time, they finally told me that my car was purchased with a bad battery from the manufacturer warehouse, that was why my car wouldn't start for 2 years. So they replaced the battery. Jan 2019 exactly 2 years later, my car stalls again! I immediately called aaa to replace my battery 01/15/19. My car still failed to start as the aaa technician asked me to start my car. So I dropped it off at Acura of concord again on 01/17/19. The dealership service agent called me later that day Jan 17th and said my car was diagnosed with no issues. She called me again Jan 18th and said my car passed all inspections and I can pick it up next day. Jan 19th morning, she calls me and says, "you have a bad battery". But I just replaced my battery on Jan 15th and it needs replacing Jan 19th?can someone please explain to me why in 4 years I need 4 new batteries? today Jan 28th, I got a call from Acura corporate that they can not figure out what is draining my car battery and why I'm having battery issues. They will not take responsibility for a defective car! something is killing my battery!!!! I work at a hospital and I take er calls for trauma patients. If my car is unreliable and not starting, it is putting my patients life at high risk and affecting my work ethics. Why doesn't my car start? why does my car stall when trying to start for 4 years? why do I need 4 new batteries in 4 years? I have videos of my car hard start/ stalling issue which I cannot attach on here. If my car does not start in an emergency case, it is endangering my life and the people relying on me as well.

Got into my veh. Several weeks ago and found bits of glass on the passenger seat. Looked up and found my sunroof shattered, but still held together, apparently by the tint film on the inside of the glass. Getting out, I found pieces of glass on the outside of the glass roof. It appeared to have imploded from the inside' no known cause. Car was parked when I found this.

"takata recall" the airbag dash lights came back on in the vehicle again shortly (approximately 1-2 weeks) after the Acura dealership performed the recall repair to the airbags. The vehicle was immediately taken back to the dealership for evaluation.

I have a Acura Tsx and im having trouble with oil consumption and the pistons the Acura dealership is refusing to honor recall because the original owner purchased the vehicle in 2008 and they said it follows me I never was notified of the recall on oul consumption I found out from a mechanic that it was burning oil is there anyway I can find out when the recall was issued I purchased the vehicle in 2015 please help me they are giving me the run around.

Both rear main brake lights have failed. Fuse replaced and lightbulbs still does not work. Internet seems to point to wiring under the drivers side, before the fusebox. Safety issue. The third brake light does work.

The red paint is fading in patches on the top surfaces-hood, roof, and trunk. Other boards report same problem with Honda/Acura red cars. Car has only 40,000 miles, garage kept. Dealer acknowledged issue. Offered to repaint hood only but could not gurantee match. Acura/Honda has defect in red paint they will not back.

My 09 Acura Tsx pings whenever you moderately or heavily step on the gas. Acura/Honda knows this is a widespread issue and needs to fix it. This is prematurely wearing enging components out. My car currently has 78,000 miles on it. Not acceptable!.

When the vehicle is started it makes a noise as if my car was already started and I was trying to start it again. Happens when car has sat for a few hours. If the vehicle is accelerated fast it smells as if something is burning.

Slid on gravels in the road hit a fence front end damage replace bumper headlight hood and driver panel replaced underneath protections in front end of car airbag light stays on continually called dealer ship said was not a recall on this safety issue.

While driving to work on route 80 in paterson, NJ on 8/5/13, I heard a loud pop that sounded like a gun and looked up to see the sunroof has shattered on my 2009 Acura Tsx for no reason. It was a clear sunny day and there were no cars around me. I called Acura's corporate office they are denying any responsibility an said something must have hit it even thought there was no one in front of me or around me, I was on a clear stretch of highway. This is a manufacturing defect and a safety hazard, I need your assistance to get resolution. I researched this situation and found extensive information of how this had happened to multiple people in different model Acura's.

This Tsx has had three different door lock actuators go out. Passenger door at 30k mikes, driver door at 45k miles and rear passenger door at 75k miles. While the first two were under warranty the last one isn't and costs $460 for the Acura dealer to fix the problem. Seems this should be a recall item as the car is in otherwise perfect condition. Multiple owners on Acura message boards complain of the same problem.

The speakers in technology package are getting fried, these speakers are used to give information about navigation and voice commands, this is a common occurrence in all second and first generation Acura Tsxs and there are multiple revies, blogs and threads online discussing the same: Acura should issue a recall, here are some of the threads. The console lights (lights in the center) went out in 2009, which is a safety concern as you need to attempt to read the controls via the overhead light while driving, causing a huge distraction. We took it to the dealer and they wanted $150 just to diagnosis it. Recently we learned that Acura extended warranty some years back to fix it however we were never notified (we are the original owners). Now we have passed the extended warranty time (7 years). We feel it's a safety concern and should have been notified about the issue by Acura and that as such Acura should still be liable to fix the problem. Thank you.
