The contact owns a 2009 Acura Tsx. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel, after which the vehicle entered limp mode and the throttle ceased to respond. The contact was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway in order to restart the vehicle. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 143,000.
