The coolant light came on after I replaced coil packs and I stopped to look wasn't leaking anywhere. Drove to work and it caught on fire due to overheating I guess not really sure. I was driving a car on fire down a highway and didn't even know it. I stopped to take a left turn into work and smoke stared billowing out and around the entire car. Other drivers couldn't see me or nothing I could have been in an accident. The fire department checked the car out sort of and it's in a mechanics shop now. Trying to figure it out. Oil light was on and that's it. An then the coolant light would kick on and off. Nothing else after I changed the coil packs. And it was well after I did that.
Tamara recall my car wouldnt start keep getting steer wheel hard to drive shifts to gear get stuck.
Was driving on the highway and my car stalled. Had to get it towed home and it will no longer start but it revs.
Audi A4 - Audi-USA case number: [xxx]- 7/13/2013 - 3:20 pm spoke with [xxx] about this issue, he transferred me over to another expert - currently music is on and I am on hold till 3:29pm - a lady name, [xxx], who basically told me that this is something they cannot help me with. The call ended at 3:48 pm. Their argument for not reimbursing me for my expense was lame and one of not accepting responsibility, however, legally, they were on the correct side in saying no, as when this issue was identified for the same make and model and year of Audi A4, my car's VIN was not included as one that was affected. They were however, not helpful in considering the fact that, the issue that was identified for some vehicles for the same make model and year, was the exact same issue for my make model and year.
