I purchased the car from john and he stated he drove it appx 30-40k miles since he received the car. But in 2016 the miles on the pink slip says 149214 and now the miles are at 150700. I believe he tampered with the odometer, turned it off and drove the car without the odometer on. When I asked him he said in the last 3- 4 years he drove it 30-40k miles. I asked him why is the odometer not showing those miles and he didnt know how to reply.
The digital display on the dashboard does not illuminate when the weather is warm. As such items such as a malfunctioning brake system, engine coolant level and engine oil pressure alerts cannot be known.
I just want to know what was recalled the airbag?.
I have an Audi A4 2006 that I purchaced as a certified pre-owned vehicle. Shortly after in November 2009 I received a recall from Audi of America "upcoming voluntary emissions service action 28f2/ji ignition coil inspection replacement". At the time I wasn't having any problems but took the car to dealer where I purchased it and had the coils checked. Almost immediately after leaving the check engine light came on and I went straight back to have it checked. There was never anything '¿wrong"¿ so I couldn¿t trust the check engine light. This seemed to become a routine whenever I went to the dealer the check engine light was surely to come on. So much so that I stopped going to that dealer for servicing, its not uncommon to hear that women that go to get their car serviced get "special'¿ treatment. I am always skeptical of that. Now I have 60,000 miles on my car and after experiencing severe shaking and the engine light coming on and blinking one of the items that arose again was the coils replaced for $424. 22 a misfire cyl 4 caused by ignition coil misfire in cyl 4. Apparently the recall "¿is over" that was the detailed and thoughtful explanation I was given by the representative from new country Audi in greenwich, CT. I don't understand how a recall could ever be over as it will be unsafe and costly to the customer for the life of the vehicle.
The glove box broke by simply opening the glove box. The whole glove box door flet.
Transmission control module failed.
Took the Audi A4 quattro to the Audi connection of cincinnati dealership for a check engine light (cel) on p codes p2293 & p0089 which indicates a possible cam follower, cam shaft, and/or high pressure fuel pump (hpfp) issues back on Thursday morning April 10th, 2014. Later, I spoke with lee at the service desk who stated that the cam shaft was worn and would be a covered item on this internal Audi campaign; however, he would not be able to get to it until the next business day since it would take a full day to repair pushing it into Friday. I received a call Friday April 11th at approximately 11:30 a. M. And it was lee stating that the cam shaft would not be replaced due to an oil pressure issue that damaged both cam shafts and engine. He later stated that the engine would have to be replaced that could cost upwards of $8,000. 00. I later suspected oil sludge issues that were also on a recall. Yes, the Audi connection did later relent, after stating earlier that they would not perform the work, offering to perform the repairs at a later timeline; a timeline that I could not afford to be without a vehicle and paying on a rental. This particular vehicle; Audi A4 t2. 0 quattro 2006 year, make, and model has a history of oil sludge issues and Audiusa has had class action lawsuits on such events- all anyone has to do is to do their research and locate issues concerning the very issues I too have experienced. Below is one similar to mine. . . "a settlement notice for the vw and Audi oil sludge class action lawsuit will be mailed and published in USA today on or before December 29, 2010. The final approval hearing is scheduled for March 11, 2011. ".
