The bolts holding the hood latch to the hood came undone causing the hood to break away from the latch, the hood then bent backwards smashing the windshield and roof of the vehicle, the hood latch remained in lock position at all times, hood detached itself from latch, drivers could not see out of front windshield, windshield, roof, fenders were damaged as well.
