Luckily I haven't had an accident but my vehicle does have a dangerous problem. If you brake hard and then step on the throttle the car will jerk and not want to start going again. It is very dangerous if you are trying to merge into traffic or get out of the way. I was informed it was a programmed "safety" feature intended to stop accidental acceleration. It seems to be exactly the opposite to me.
Consumer states while driving at highway speed the transmission slips and have hard shifting causing the vehical to stall. Provide any additional information. Mr.
The torsen part(s) in the awd system are defective thus causing a noticeable vibration at speeds of 40-80mph. The vibration can vary from significant to slight depending on ambient temp, vehicle/part temp, speed, acceleration profile, and length of time at cruise. Manufacturer is aware of the problem but will not acknowledge officially that it presents a safety hazard. It could ultimately lead to a catastrophic failure of the part at speed and subsequent loss of control at high speed.
