Tire Sidewall problems of the 2001 Audi A6

1 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 01/11/2003

While driving 35 to 40 mph, right front tire went flat. Upon inspection it was observed that sidewall had cracked and separated from tread along the entire inside circumference. This is the second time that this has occurred on this car. The first separation occurred at approximately 26,000 miles (complaint odi 769362) while this one occurred at 36,000 miles.

2 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 12/21/2000

Consumer received letter regarding the bridgestone potenza tires (p225/45r17), one tire had experienced bubbling in the sidewall and had been replaced prior to the letter, consumer is requesting reimbursement for the replacement tires.
