Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2014 Audi A6

On 12/3/19 our car was taken to a certified Audi dealer for having the airbag light on indicating a safety issue. The Audi tech #293n found the passenger occupant detection control module faulty and offered to replace this part for $1,172. 60. There is a recall for A6 model years, however our car is not included, yet our pods control module has failed. We have spoken with Audi support and was told clearly that our VIN number is not included. We are the original owner and the car is in excellent condition for a 2014. We are very concerned about the safety of our front seat passenger in our Audi a 6 and have been told by customer service that this can cause the airbag to not deploy properly when in a collision. Audi has incorrectly concluded that only models with basic seats are recalled. However this exact problem has occurred with our vehicle. I have attached a photo of the repair bill estimate from the dealer. I am requesting that Audi include all 2014 a 6 vehicles in this recall and repair our car due to this faulty part.
