The contact owns a 2023 Audi Q5. The contact stated that after opening the trunk door and reaching into the trunk, the trunk door inadvertently released, and the door struck the contact on the neck. No medical attention was sought. The contact stated that the trunk door was difficult to manually raise up. The contact heard a beeping sounding and was able to get out of the way before the trunk closed independently. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacture was not contacted. The failure mileage was 1,820.

The contact owns a 2023 Audi Q5. The contact stated that while using the liftgate to load or unload the rear cargo compartment, the motion-sensor used to activate the liftgate would close or open the liftgate due to the slightest movement. The contact stated that he had been struck on the head by the liftgate after barely moving his foot near the sensor while loading the vehicle. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that there was no fix for the failure. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 856.
