The contact stated while driving approximately 40 mph and turning left, water had started leaking from the fire wall on the driver's side and made the accelerator pedal wet. The contact's foot slipped off the pedal and she nearly lost control of the vehicle. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that she had a problem with water leaking into the driver's side and the passenger side foot well for over a year. The contact stated that she had called the dealer and was told that it was condensation from the a/c. The contact stated that the accumulation of water is intermittent, however when the accelerator and brake pedal would become wet her feet would slip off of the pedals. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle had not been diagnosed and had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure.
